Is Coraline the best film Laika has done?
Is Coraline the best film Laika has done?
Yes
...
>laika
thought u were talking about cortanablue for a second
Selik was only the director, The aesthetic and creation was burton
bump
>eccentric neighbor wore a Chernobyl liquidator’s medal
So that’s what Dyatlov was up to before he died
You can buy them on ebay, He probably wasn't even Russian
Laika need to stop hurling money down the toilet in an attempt to make stop-motion look as computer generated as possible, or else just start making CG films. Coraline works because it actually feels like stop-motion
What film are you refering to, The only film I haven't seen is Kubo
Yes.
cool
Absolutely this.
wheres the Arbeit macht frei sign?
Coraline>Kubo>Missing Link=Paranorman
Never saw Boxtrolls
Animation is pretty good with a story I couldn't care about or barely remember
Coraline > Paranorman > Boxtrolls > Kubo (great visuals but literally directed by a wannabe rapper spoiled son of a ceo)
and never saw missing link. They made a mistake not keeping Selick
I don't know what it was about it but it felt lacking in some respect, Great animation, sets, characters, voice actors etc but it kust had no spark
Darn. It did smell a bit like desperation. Like “our old spooky schtick isn’t doing it anymore! Uhhh, Let’s go after wimpy hipsters!”
Man, the wall is real.
