Imagine if Ryan Gosling is about to join the MCU and that's why we haven't heard from him in a while

Imagine if Ryan Gosling is about to join the MCU and that's why we haven't heard from him in a while.

There's a panel today so there's bound to be some big announcements. Like Ryan Gosling joining the MCU.

Remember me when it happens.

I would be extremely disappointed

if I get disappointed just because people I like are doing movies I don't like I would have been ... already disappointed

Wouldn't hurt if it pays his bill so he can do high brow stuff

like another Refn or Villenue kino

This. Get normalfags watching Gooseflix so they can get introduced to Goslingkino.

i think jake just did this because it was easy money and he got to play a villain and never have to do capeshit again.

i doubt gosling is going to do capeshit though. he seems to have standards.

Actually Gosling said the only reason he denied a Marvel role so far is because he didn't want to be locked into a multi-film contract, so he'd probably be up for a role where he could play a villain, die, and be done as well. That said I find it difficult to imagine him in a villainous role, he does not seem to have it in him.

>the MCU
get your onions ridden cum brain the fuck outta here

This was in a pre-release interview, so take it with a pinch of salt... But, Goose said he was more than happy to do a Blade Runner 3. I suppose the only way it could work is if they bring back another K model that looks like him to double down on the "You are not special" message.

Well, his death was left ambiguous enough that they could very well just back off and say he survived. It wouldn't be a very good decision artistically but the option is open to them. Still, like I said, the key thing to him seems to be that he didn't sign a multi-film contract, of course he'd return if he likes it but he probably wants the option to say no if he doesn't like the script, etc.

Gosling joining the mcu would immediately make me lose all respect for him. So I hope he doesn't.
He just has a fragile ego though. He took a 2 year break after his directorial debut was shit. So first man has done something similar at a guess

Look up the Avenging Silence. Refn has literally written the final chapter of the autistic trilogy and he's just waiting for Goose to say yes

Which is odd because it was actually a great movie and won an Oscar. I guess lying low until people forget the fake outrage is smart.

Ugh, Refn is doing an Avengers movie? Why must everyone fall to capeshit...

>implying Lalaland wasn't mainstream and normiecore already

It made a lot of money but a lot of people didn't get it. It's too artsy for them and they basically only saw it because of the Oscar buzz.

FUCKING WHEN?

True. Whilst I don't think we need BR3 or even will ever get one, I think a "KD6 - 3."8" " model could work if he's got a very minor role. Similar to the Rachel scene from 2049.

>no trigger discipline
Can movies get anything right?
