But Matrix was very on the edge when it came out, that's part of the charm
How will they enter and exit the matrix in part 4?
>exit the Matrix
>it's Zion, a surging sea of brownfolk
>exit the Zion-Matrix
>it's Megazion, a surging sea of blackfellas
>exit Megazion
>it's total darkness
I have a feeling they'll lean into the "we created the peak of your civilization in the Matrix, 1999" line from Smith and make it perpetually 1999 in the Matrix.
After all, it wouldn't make much sense otherwise since the current incarnation of the Matrix is many years old and for it to be 1999 during the events of The Matrix, the machines would have had to initialize the world inside the Matrix at some time long before 1999 which wouldn't agree with Smith's quote.
>I know you’re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you’re afraid. You’re afraid of us. You’re afraid of change.I don’t know the future. I didn’t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how this is going to begin. I’m gonna hang up this phon-
one thing I always wondered, was the Matrix perpetually 1999, as in, on New Years the whole system rebooted or something?
>perpetually 1999
I WANT THE BLUE PILL
The Matrix was permanently 1999 going by the original lore.
They just removed the concept of years being numbered.
people inside the simulation would notice that the year never changes and new technology never comes, fucking retards
The whole point of the movie is that our world is the fake one
5 bucks says that Trinity is gonne be the main character, Neo is gonna be evil (since he's a white male) and Trinity is going to beat his ass in a fight sometime in the movie
