No, its not the punisher you know and love. Ive read every single Punisher comics, including all crossovers. Nowhere is the story this show chose was told. The thugs make no sense, he barely punishes anyone. Its the only acceptable version of the punisher sjws and faggots can tolerate. Castle throwing a black meth dealer from the top of empire state, or locking him up in a crate with a grenade is too much for this cuck.
Also they added some muslim female character who works for CIA or FBI I forgot, she's anti american, raised in a muslim shit hole, and a hero of the story. It's a nightmare. Pass.

The first season is okay and has some true Frank Castle moments but it suffers from the fact that it's centered around government conspiracy stuff as opposed to the criminal underworld. The latter suits Punisher's character much better. I turned the second season off halfway through around the time when Frank spares a fucking child pornographer's life as well as the life of a mob boss.

In season one they have a tiny 2 minute montage of him killing off all of the thugs across the country,(which should've been the show) after that it becomes a drama between him and micro along with some Muslim bitch for twelve episodes, trying to solve some black ops conspiracy. What people in the thread are missing is that we have seen Castle deal with mobsters and criminal organizations in the multiple movies and Dare Devil season 2. Frank taking on a rogue corrupt government was the next natural step. Plus it introduced us to Micro. His dynamic with the Punisher was great

That's what Punisher DOES. That's what you're missing. Publisher's gimmick is merking criminals. When you change that, you change the foundation of the Punisher. It's the same thing Disney did to Spider-Man. They changed his foundation.
