Deneuve is one of the most beautiful women ever lived.

He still hasn't topped Knife in the Water. Three actors, a car, a boat and a knife, that's it and it's still riveting for the entire duration. Only a young, inexperienced filmmaker full of rebellious anger could make a kino like this. Fun fact: she had never acted before. Polanski saw her at some swimming hall or something and asked her to be in the film. According to Polanski's memoir, she was also a ravenous eater and she ballooned during the production so much that they had to starve her. But she kept sneaking food under her bed which they eventually found.

Yeah I've actually read Roman by Polanski too. Great autobiography.

I'm reading it for the 3rd time now. Great book. And basically every story ends with Polanski fucking a different girl.
