Just finished binging The Boys. I love how their parody of Aquaman always gets shit on when everyone's been shitting on actual Aquaman for years. It was very cathartic, but The Deep is still one of my favorite characters anyway

Same. He was a piece of shit, but you still felt sorry for him regradless. After I finished the show I read all of the comics and I have some concerns. They changed a lot of things that are important to the plot and I don't know how they are going to make it all work now.

The plot of the comics was kind of a high-concept mess, and I think that the show actually made some smart changes that preserved the core concept and themes while cutting out a bunch of the dumb stuff.
