Best is OUATIH. It's his only film that makes an actual statement beyond "Hey look at these films I appreciate". That's not to say his other work is bad. I love all of the guy's films. But Hollywood feels like more than just the sum of its parts. Tarantula used the changing of the guard in '69 to reflect the end of a cinematic era we are currently living through now while simultaneously exploring his own nostalgia. He actually has something to say this time and it's great. Btw his worst is Django or Reservoir Dogs but I still love those films for what they are.

True Romance was a fantastic Tarantino script but with a director who knew not to overindulge. That's why it's great

Jackie Brown was the turning point for Quentin. It was his first mature movie with real characters who had actual depth. Then the audience hated it because they expected Pulp Fiction 2.0. from then on Tarantino looked to satisfy the his fans need for meme scenes and Reddit dialogue thus his movies have gotten progressively worse
