Anyone else ever seen this?

Just watched it. Great movie.

Is that Gosling? What movie is this?

nobody on Yea Forums knows what this is or who that actor is

Is that a Prius?

I love this movie. I just wish that there had been at least one more scene that really shows off his driving skills.
No. It's a Mustang, but Gosling owned a Prius at one point. The same model and color that I currently own in fact.

Was the Driver autistic? Genuine question, he's literally the first fictional character in any medium I would say I "related" to for that very reason

bump

>Was the Driver autistic?
no he was just very apathetic until he met irene and benicio

I just watched this the other night for the first time in years. I believe it was implied subtly that he was on the spectrum. Cranston keeps mentioning how gifted he is. Driver's mannerisms show almost zero regard for social norms. Him putting on that mask was the ultimate clue IMO.

Great fucking movie though, turned me onto The Chromatics.

Ron Perlman was absolutely trash in this movie

You might want to check out Emil Rottmayer, Neon Nox, FM-84 and the youtube channel ElectronicGems. He has a bunch of shitty chillhop songs on his channel, but you can skip those and it's an otherwise decent source for good, positive, synth music IMO.

My therapist told me he looks people in the eyes too often to be actually autistic but is possibly on the spectrum somewhere.

YO

>he looks people in the eyes too often
Is that a bad thing now? When people are talking to me I always look them in the eyes, sometimes they look away and I always see it as a lack of self confidence or anxiety thing.

> a real human bean

What does he do?

You might be on the spectrum but not because of that. You misunderstood his point. His therapist said that the driver is not autistic because he looks people in the eyes too often

While avoiding eye contact is definitely a trait of autism spectrum disorder, all because you don't exhibit that trait doesn't mean you automatically aren't autistic.
t. a therapist

>hey who else has seen one of the most discussed movies on Yea Forums?

>it is be or couldn't isn't be
>the point is we don't know but everybody thinks it be

First I avoided eye contact. Then I went on SSRIs to combat anxiety. Now I make so much eye contact that it's everybody else who looks away first. feels pretty good tbqhwyf

>being this much of a dumb newfag

bump

nope he is autistic
it is written in the original book

I winced as I imagined going over this specific movie with a therapist.

Yes. It's in my top 5 of all time.

Along with Cranston this was one of their better performances in their catalogs

I just stare into peoples eyes. Am I autistic?

Yea Ive watched it and the Driver is literally just like me. He was all brooding and mysterioius and I am also brooding and mysterious.
