What are we watching Yea Forums? Dont forget to take notes.
*teacher wheels this bad boy in*
Welt to Murrican Middle/High School 2001-2008
Here's my experience
Some documentary about how white people are evil.
Forrest Gump. It's uhhh history, guys.
Seinfeld
I had a teacher who would show us Hackers like 5 times or more a year every year in high school. It was fucking awesome.
Finding Nemo for the 87th fucking time
Dear God, your teachers were pushing an agenda hard. Pro-gay, pro-black, pro-socialism, pro-whore, anti-natsee, pro-pedo, pro-stronk women, etc.
well we also watched some pro-palestinian/anti-Israel thing I can't remember the name of so /pol/ would like that
Who else had based history teachers that let the class watch Band of Brothers
Wrong, isn't it? Here in blighty we didn't even watch anything besides some jumanji and peter pan shit. No animu.
Hamlet with Mel Gibson.
just a video of the teacher wacking off
Tiddy kino Romeo & Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet. It's big tiddies and English class after all
I remember being about 7 and a teacher making us watch Fantastic Planet. My mind had blocked it out until I watched The Cell many years later and the nightmares came flooding back.
>no the outsiders
>no kes
>no buddy
Dropped
Went to a catholic school so we watched The Mission. Edgy "friends" hated it cause muh catholicism but it is genuine kino
oh yes
I'm sorry. Aside from Elf, WHICH EVERY SINGLE TEACHER SHOWED, we had an English class where we watched the Star Wars original trilogy, The Two Towers, band of brothers, Lawrence of arabia, hidalgo, all of kubrick, Kenneth branagh Shakespeare films, and probably something else I'm forgetting.
I remember we once watched a documentary about burning monks. For those not familiar monks would set themselves on fire and burn themselves to death. It was quite eye opening.
a_ G______?
Everything after the two towers wasn't in the same english class
Pic related and Gallipoli(1981)
Rest do not matter
You lucky dog, my shit school made us watch the god awful Micheal bay pearl harbor movie instead.
Why were they burning themselves and did they show any of the actual burnings?
>Battle of Algiers
>Murrican Middle/High School 2001-2008
Really? Which state? Based if true.
The Breakfast Club
You watched It at school?!
This too.
I'm not sure why I believe they were protesting soemthing? Not sure, it's been over a decade since then but they did show about 3 minutes of them lighting themselves on fire and durning to death while sitting on the ground and meditating
>teacher bump this bad boy into wires and makes the TV crash to the ground.
watched a bit of Matrix in my philosophy class.
probably during the vietnam war in protest of the persecution of buddhists by the south vietnamese govt
I had a based English teacher in 7th grade who had us watch this kino one day while she graded projects or something. Not sure why she picked it but it led to a ton of inside jokes that lasted well into high school.
Air Bud
I had a year of Russian History in high school. 3 days a week we watched tv. Head of the Class and that type of shit.
everyone got A's or C's
(was a nigger school)
>Spartacus
>Polanski's Macbeth
>Battle of Algiers
What fucking school did you go to you lying sack of shit?
>End of the semester in German class
Literally every time the shop teacher wasn't there, we would watch the first 45 minutes of October Sky.
>Prodiginous!
I had to watch Gattaca in high school five times
Me too. Also Downfall.
I remember when we got a substitute teacher and he didnt now what to do so we watched the first half of Matrix.
It was shit since I could not be arsed to watch it fully for many years after
BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY
Unsure why. I think the teacher just wanted an excuse to watch this.
Where's Elie Weisel's Auschwitz? Teachers threatened suspension if you didn't give it full attention.
KILL THE PIG!
SLIT HER THROAT!
BASH HER IN!
>Weisel
>Weasel
No better name for a jew.
Roots, Saving private ryan, Romeo and Juliet, Family Guy, Kinsey, Step Up, High school musical and some unknown British history stuff.
War of the Worlds
???
Creative Writing course had us sit through this for inspiration.
>were watching my favorite war film
fucking kino everytime
>No 12 angry men
They probably showed this at my high school a million times
forgot about these kinos.
Based
the word pretentious was created for shit like this
Was it a """"special"""" school for """"special"""" children?
>big assignment for the year is a entire class presentation about the historical accuracy of a film
>has to be American (us history class) and not be forrest gump or apollo 13
>i pick this kino
>highest grade in the class, teacher still uses my presentation as the bench line
God i miss the US history courses in high school.
Oh cool my dad works at Nintendo
Found the oven magnet.
Every fuckin time one of my teachers was also a coach.
i never watched this in school but i feel like i should have
did anyone ever see this film in school?
this
Probably the only thing that wasn't typical was that we watched Dark Side of Oz in 6th grade. He was a cool teacher.
t. doesn't do drugs
>the word pretentious was created for shit like this
maybe, but it was still mind-altering (on drugs or not) in the sense that one hadn't seen something like this before. And although the message it sends is profound, and applicable to today, reading up on the origins of the film make it grounded. One guy did a whole bunch of timelapse footage, and the other weaved it into a narrative. Still some great visuals, only surpassed by the 2nd film which is more pretentious in intent and vision. Third film sucked and just done to make it a "Trilogy"
Run Lola Run
Amadeus. Also Love in the Time of Cholera for spic class.
Where my fellow britbongs born late 1980s at?
Nice night for a walk.
Almost every year at school it was either Animal Farm or Charlotte's Web.
The Sound of Music is straight baller, you fucking nigger.
>through the dragons eye
Fucking babbies. Where my Dark Towers niggas at?
I'm retarded, meant for
Same guy ('87), we had that as well.
>Dark towers - Geordie racer - something about a carnival gypsy - dragons eye
>Geordie racer
Holy fuck. I'd totally forgot about that one. It seems you are my nigga after all. 80 here btw you young whippersnapper.
I guess the BBC bothered to pump out a new edutainment Look and Read show once a decade it seems.
Btw the gyppo one seemed to be called "fairground" from '83, between 'towers and Geordie racer
my physics teacher put on ben hur because that one scene with the horses walking around the hippodrome "was a good demonstration of how angular motion works"
that was a good four days
>It's Shrek
In elementary school one of the movies on the cart was the fucking french dub of baby geniuses and it was the VHS they played the most by far
I fucking hated the TV cart
Guess it depends on what shows your alcoholic primary school teacher bothered to VHS off of the learning zone at 3am.
we watched twilight zone on the last days of 5th grade with the classroom full dark, no desks, and everyone brought blankets and shit. also free popcorn and pizza (calm down, /pol/)
>tfw German
>tfw had to watch schindlers list alone at least 3 times in 10 years
Rise of evil is pretty kino tho
Man, our language teach was the worst. They'd just throw on any old crap in Spanish and call it a day
The gypo one vaguely rings a bell but Dark Towers was the one I remember most. Benjer and Bunce are names that stuck in my mind. I can't recall the name of the villainess though. Miss something... Sure it began with an H
>any old crap in Spanish
EL NOMBRE
WRITING NUMBERS IN THE DESERT SAND
Miss Hawk. I looked it up because it was bugging me.
/pol/ loves Israel lol
Tfw we watched “the scene” in class and the kid across the room whispers about how he popped a boner loud enough for the entire class to hear and stare at him
>Sunshine for Science class
This cunt
The Swan Princess for some reason
What makes this the go to classroom movie?
news of the rwandan genocide
>elementary school had TVs built into corners of classroom due to recent renovation
>middle school was recently renovated
>by the time I got to high school, they installed digital projectors in rooms
English 10th grade sucked, but the time we watched Star Wars (IV, of course) was pure kino. But really, movies ranged from actual kino to terrible films to hilariously outdated shit. If anyone finds an old nutrition video where they drive around in Aerostars and take food off people's plates and replace them with "healthy" options, call me, because I'd like to see that again.
LYNCHED
>No To Kill A Mockingbird
>No Flowers For Algernon
>No Blue Planet
>teacher gets a call
>looks genuinely shocked
>there's a plane crashed into the World Trade Center with smoke coming out of it
Didn't really realize how much things would really change after that.
well this is a based fucking teacher
nice try kike
>teacher who uses Yea Forums: *exists*
>Stephen King: The teacher wasn’t sick. The teacher wasn’t sleeping. The teacher was dead.
Homeroom teacher rewarded us for reaching a class goal and we had the choice between this and Titanic.
Bill Nye
implying i like (((Trump)))
CRUISIN ON DOWN MAIN STREET

Forrest Gump
Schindler's List
some documentary about Spanish bullfighting
>high school
The Passion of the Christ (field trip for Latin class)
This. Again.
deep blue sea
>who drew a swastika on the chalkboard?
Had one teacher in HS that would put on movies like every other day while he sat at his desk and drank a 2liter of diet cola. Pretty sure he was getting hammered.
Two that stick out were Aguirre, the Wrath of God , and Leni Riefenstahl's Olympia
>all these people mentioning Romeo and Juliet
Based
Beyond the Green Door. Teacher is fighting with her boyfriend, and she's started day drinking again.
great movie
One of the best if not the best class movie i ever watched. Even at my young age I knew it was kino
Watched this because the Run Lola Run DVD didn't work
>Disney Film
>Says the N word along with other slurs
>Played at my Catholic School
>Actually was pretty ok.
>Very interesting story
But still
>Disney Film
>Used racial slurs
>In a catholic school
Pro healthy eating
This agenda is going to far
>did anyone ever see this film in school?
Yeah. They had us watch this in middle school history class
Riki tiki tavi
Wait, how popular is Run Lola Run for German classes? Because that's how I first saw it.
I think this happened once in my entire school "career" and it was the last week of school.
t. U.S. public school master race
>this happened once
>t. U.S. public school master race
Pick one
our friend martin and magic school bus
Also if you went to some poorfuck school without a TV in every other room so you had to cram 60 kids in there get out
Pretty sure my sister watched it too when she went to a different (better) high school.
Probably one those weird shared experiences we all have, like watching that aunt Diane video.
After we read the book we watched the movie. It still holds up desu
Bill Bye
Magic School Bus
Jumanji
Home Alone
An Inconvenient Truth
Super Size Me
For some reason I had to watch Emperors New Groove in like 4 separate classes. This one time we had a Substitute teacher that didn’t give a fuck and let us watch the entirety of first Jackass movie that one of the girls brought.
>high school
>2001-2008
Get off my site kiddo
9/11
>olivia hussey's boob
90s kids, am I right?
a documentary on the holocaust
No Holes or Schindler's List?
That would mean he's in his late twenties now.
Fun movie, but didn't watch it in school. I guess The Lives of Others was too dark for your teacher?
White fragility the post.
Don't forget Varsity Blues.
My choir teacher showed us The Princess Bride and Spaceballs at the end of the year.
I was in my late 20s when he was just started up middle school. And when I was in high school, he was still sucking in his mama's TITS!
>No Ghostbusters
This doesn't make me feel good, user
How many tits were you sucking in high school?
babby user: 1
Dinosaur user: 0
Oh trust me on that, I was sucking many a tit. Freedom died in '99, and we were just having so much fun back then
Well if they're wheeling in the cart instead of using the one mounted in the corner, we're probably in indoor recess. So I guess one of the Air Bud sequels.
Independence Day. Odd choice for a random Australian high school.
Terminator 2. In free Biology class of all things. So next to bunsen burners and shit.
99% of the time if was a show recorded off the History channel
Imagine how comfy it would be to be a substitute history teacher and do nothing but watch the same movie three times a day for a living
German teach showed us Amadeus on this bad boy. Took like 4 days to watch the whole movie.
The Man Without a Face (1993) was one of them. Mostly because the teacher had a copy without subtitles, so we watched it in our english class once.
Classic. Nice to know there are some oldfags still left!
Sit down and shut up, teach got a hangover so we're watching shrek again.
>tfw my teacher brought in his 360 and we played this after reading the book
Guy was fucking based as all hell. Hope he is doing well.
I remember liking it at first but upon rewatching it just isn’t good.

More often than not it was Remember the Titans. Though my junior year English teacher was kind of cool and he showed us One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Dr. Strangelove. One memerable experience i had in his class though was when he told us all that we were going to eventually mix the races until we were all a nice golden-brown color. I'll never forget how these two, ghetto, black girls looked at eachother with looks of shock and disgust on their faces when he said that. He kind of reminded me of Elvis Costello and i suspect that he usually came in hungover and might have even poured some spirits into his coffee before each class.
>a video game about dante's inferno
was it even remotely similar to the story?
based
>kind of wanted to be a teacher since I was in high school
>this country is only getting nigger-er
>dont know if I could put up with some loud mouth nigress's shit
>would probably get fired
private schools user
Fucking Geordie Racer mate. I remember year 2 well
I must've seen Supersize Me about 5 times or more in public school.
lmfao no. you have to go rescue beatrice from hell before the devil turns her into succubus
God no, but still fun and had some cameos and callbacks
I remember watching this one too
based carl.
I'd play it
The entire curriculum in english and history where you watch this shit is just holocaust and slavery ad infinitum.
Bill Nye the Sex Junk
Yeah why arent teachers showing their students pro slavery anti minority movies. You people are a fucking joke lol
Problem is the ratio of it for most people.
the one where Jake Gyllenhaal builds the rockets
Anybody else went to a Christian school
This docu-kino.
September Ocean. We watched that one too.
Only from kindergarten to the end of first grade. I think my mother was trying to keep me away from The Blacks. The irony is that as soon as they moved me into a normal public school a mulatto fella became my best friend. To be fair to my mother, he turned out to be a really shitty influence on me.
Stand and Deliver for the 1000th goddamn time
>every year of elementary school, on the Friday before the MLK holiday
You forgot “The Sandlot”. My school would play this a lot for some reason.
We didn’t get to watch it in my German class cause of the language. She claimed that the school wouldn’t allow it, but I think she was just worried about our “impressionable” minds. We watched Die Weiße Rose, and she fast-forwarded through a scene with tits.
It’s a typical feel-good movie about overcoming racial bigotry. And it takes place in high school and has sports.
My senior lit class actually played a lot of kino. Branagh's Hamlet, Apocalypse Now, Somewhere in Time, Crash, Lion King, Never Let Me Go...the only one that I didn't like was Beloved.
I 'member VeggieTales in elementary. I was the problem child in 5th grade so my desk was relocated next to the TV cart. This worked in my favor because front row seat and an easy spot to hide Bible verses for fill-in-the-blank quizzes we took.
We watched a lot of John Stossel
Downfall for German class
I actually saw three of these in school: Of Mice and Men, Supersize Me, and the Sound of Music.
>>No To Kill A Mockingbird
>>No Flowers For Algernon
Also accurate
>No Holes or Schindler's List?
These too.
The same class I saw Schindler's List we also watched Saving Private Ryan, so two instances of viewing WWII kino.
If it isn't an Eyewitness doc, I'm ignoring that shit and drawing swords in my notebook.
Yeah, having fun with AIDS. Enjoy your miserable sunset years you AIDS dinosaur faggot user
cope
The sequence at the end where King grows up was pretty kino, ngl
>young Bruce Wayne sails the seas before deciding to be the hero that Gotham deserves
I watched that in 2015 high school history
Where the hell did you go to school?
Wow. The constant brainwashing really took hold, eh?
That one about the incest and honey
>it's gay porn
AWWWWW YEAAAAHHH
White reality more like it. Don't want to radicalize people? Don't vilify them and their forebearers from cradle to the grave.
Fuck yeah
Absolutely zero self-awareness.
I remember that. And Deutch Aktuell, Ich Habe das Gern, STAR WARS, Wayne's World and more.
Fuck no. But it is paladin kino.
we even had a field trip for a stage performance of it.
Anyone else do a film study on this?
Shout out to my sophmore German teacher, a tough Soviet immigrant woman, turning dark red and frantically trying to fast forward through the scene where the main character sees porn for the first time crossing into West Germany.
Also a solid shout out to giant fake titties covered in whipped cream.
My class had to watch the Michael Bay film too. I told the teacher that Japanese didn't actually strafe the hospitals in during that attack and he told the class it was a small example of modern propaganda. I guess I half accidentally dropped a redpill.
I swear, no one clapped.
