Does anyone here unironically like this movie?

I ironically enjoy how it ruined a generation of girls

Even though I've never seen it, I love it.

I loved it as a teen, it came out when I was in high school. Of course now I hate it, still like that black sheep song though.

I could never get past the first 20 minutes of this movie
It's incredibly cringy

I rewatched it recently and it's still incredibly tight in terms of visuals and soundtrack.
But this is clearly just an incel bait thread again so whatever.

for me it's kim pines

Absolutely this. Irreparable damage.

I think the original source material was obviously better. But as a movie, it was pretty good. Edgar Wright’s editing and visual comedy is the best in the business, but the acting is sometimes the fucking flattest shit.

i do

>YEAHHHH

It's pretty good but whoever says it's fucking amazing is a redditfag

I love it, why do you ask?

It’s one of my favorite comedies. I do hate how it churned out an entire population of pretentious art hos though.

Every time I watch that scene I keep thinking Rob Schneider is in it for some reason.

Never seen it, and have no desire to.

It's a great movie. Obviously I saw it when it came out in 2010, not in fucking 2019 as a jaded teenager such a OP and the scum of contrarians here.

What?
I do, fun flick

i liked it and can see why people didn't

>What?
Idiots think a box office bomb from 10 years ago made girls dye their hair and not want to fuck them.

It's good for what it is, Scott is nowhere close to being a well rounded character as he is in the comics but if you want a fun stylized film check it out.

Can understand the hate for it though

Ha you fucking moron, everyone knows no girl wanted to fuck us before this movie even came out.

I liked it. Fite me.

Knives Chau did nothing wrong.

I saw it alone in theaters and realized halfway through the couple sitting behind me was my ex and her new boyfriend. They're married now and I'm going to die alone, but it was a really fun movie.

Can you stop being a cantankerous, disingenuous faggot? You don't really want to discuss this movie, you just wanna make a women hate thread and circle jerk about that stupid fucking song.

Unironically the best comic book adaptation ever (most are shit though).
Man, that must be awful. Hope you get better.

why is this everywhere now? are zoomies just getting around to seeing this?

It was kind of ok but it ruined a whole generation of women. At least we have something to laugh now.

no, this is just based on a meme song.

i think it was in 2012 when i watched this movie
i was really into stuff that now i'd consider cringey, but that movie was too much for me, i quickly recognized it was peak reddit-core, even though back then i barely visited Yea Forums
never read the comic book, but i'd guess it's less cringey than the movie

Stop saying unironically

It’s ok. Ironically he was going to end up with Knives as it was written that way that Ramona was essentially an irredeemable whore. But the test audiences complained so they filmed a new ending, assuring the future ruined generation of women would remain in tact.

Original ending:

>saw it in the theaters on a date, hated it
>watch it again as a normal adjusted adult who has had sex
>like it now

some guy made a youtube video about the movie that he's spamming here 24/7

Wrong Instagram and Kim Kardashian did. Scott pilgrim didn't even make back it's budget

Shut the fuck up axl rose

BPD AND ECSTASY

SHITTY SONG SPAMMED ON Yea Forums

I watched it as a kid and I thought how everyone talked was weird but the fights were cool

dont really want to watch it again cause the whole things so awkward

She was so fucking cute
>mfw Ellen Wong was 25 when she played Knives Chau

Everyone dies alone.

I like it more than I don't like it.

it had extremely good editing and visuals. the directing was top notch, not a fan of the subject, actors or material

still very nice to watch if you enjoy creative cinematography

Yes, I can't find a video but the Rock-It transition might be my favorite cut of all time.

I think it's better than the comic.

But Lisa isn't in the movie

Why didn't you beat him up?

I love this movie. The comics were better, though.

It’s a great movie and a technical achievement

It's unironically a really well crafted and edited film. I can see why people don't like it but I personally love it

Always wished that was Simon Pegg and Nick Frost playing the vegan police

Fuck she was so hot then. What happened

Irl Asuka gf where

kek seething roastie

yeah
the comic is full of drama shit, drag on too long and side characters are too many
the movie cherry pick the best joke from comic while keeping it simple and funny

I unironically liked the comic when I first read because it was the first time I ever saw video game references in something so I clapped. I look back and realize the story is actually about a guy desperately trying to be the (minimum) 7th different guy to cum inside a girl. Also they made Kim ugly in the movie.

It's a visual stunner and the editing is on point. Heavily entertaining to watch purely for the visuals and sound
The fight VS The Katayanagi Twins is a great spectacle

got shitfaced by myself and watched it on hbo back in college

Best part was when they sung Threshold while fighting asian daft punk. Also enjoyed the bass battle and the Clash at Demonhead. Fuck, I wish my friends played instruments too (or at least with me)

According to the chief, I was on thin ice and /this/ close to being thrown off the force if I started shit off duty again

Freindly reminder that the vidya was not only the peak of pixel art in modern games but also now gone forever.

Damn. Never heard of that. It's actually more interesting even if it's a bit bittersweet for Ramona.

Just pirate a cracked version

Routh and Culkin are relentlessly handsome. I want to kiss them relentlessly.

It's easy to sneer at this now. Maybe it is Reddit. But 2010 was a different time.

Yes.

wasnt that different. This movie didnt have a solid time setting anyway

Caught it on one of the HBO channels one evening, a long time ago. I tried to like it, I really did, but I found it to be ridiculous hipster shit and couldn't stop cringing every ten seconds, so I just changed the channel and watched reruns of Star Trek TNG for the rest of the night.

>Bitched that side characters got development
>Happy not a single character in the movie got any kind of development
Seriously in the comics a few grow up and mature and a few of Scott's friends don't Scott himself doesn't that much but the overall theme is that he will in time like his companions the movie changed all that progress and even took away the one large piece of development Scott did get recognizing Ramona is toxic to be around and Knives is loyal and DTF waifu material

Basted relentless kissing poster

Yes
i never read the comic books either
Me and my sister quote it to eachother all the time and it never gets tired for us, though, so maybe I just ironically like the movie instead

Damn, that would have been so much fucking better
