A Pirates of Dark Water live action adaptation is in the works at Warner Bros, the film is based on the Hannah Barberra series of the same name. My source told me that this film will be directed by none other than Verbinski, the man behind Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. We shall see when the official announcement will be made but I heard that WB wants this film ready before the Pirates of the Caribbean female reboot releases.

Still waiting to see the ending of this.
ME too, Motu is back at Netflix so who knows
How? It got canceled after one season. A shame, shit was based as fuck.
>How?
Every franchise no matter how small it is gets a reboot at one point if producers see money potential in them
I’d rather the original series get a proper conclusion.
By Netflix?

Pirates of the Dark water traumatized me as a kid. Not because of its content, but because it was canceled. It was the first time I got attached to a piece of media, then got burned by "bad ending/canceled with no ending." It lead to me, later in life, coming up with a personal rule to never consume media that doesn't have a definitive, good ending (a rule that, the few times I did bend or break it, I got burned by, further reinforcing it).

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. for me.
Does the original hold up? I was really young when it was on, and remember thinking "why does this seem as good as Dad's real shows?" It was very "alive" and colorful.
