Unscheduled Penis Activation
>"Close the anis!"
very xenophobic
whats the consensus on atlantis anyway? i was honestly surprised by how much i managed to enjoy it. imo it suffers in the same way sg1 does but theres still some great chemistry between the characters that i found made it worth watching
personally though i really wish they spent more time on exploring getting into trouble in the city
she's from canada
The base itself, offworld activation means the gate was dialed into, not out of.
After the weak first season (Tayla is coma-inducing) I personally really enjoyed it. I recall like it more than the final seasons of SG1.
don't like the actings. except mckay
Then it would be scheduled or what's his name wouldn't have to announce it
mckay is definitely the glue that holds the show together
Couple of years ago I was kinda bindge watching stargate in chronological order and I gotta say if you watch it fast like that as opossed on when it was airing originally you can see the quality drop tremendously towards the end of atlantis. 2 last seasons of atlantis felt like I was watching a spanish soap opera for some reason. Probably because of the whole Teyla plot.
Also the token black character that was obviously put in by someone extremely out of touch was funny, good for them for figuring it out and writing him off the team and actually improving his character arc.
Her reproductive organs are inside.

MOMMY
What's it with McKay anyway?
Normaly smart and snobby characters are bullshit but he just works.
The first two seasons of SG-1 are based off actual events the Air Force and CIA covered up.
I like the yellow ones
THERE ARE TWO YELLOW ONES
>The first two seasons of SG-1 are based off actual events the Air Force and CIA covered up.
That's actually the reason why my father liked the show in the beginning. At the end it was just some spaceship wankfest.
>Then it would be scheduled or what's his name wouldn't have to announce it
Several times in the series, something causes them dial out unintentionally.
Undeeding
I personally like Atlantis more than SG-1, because while it was slow to get it's wheels going, it had more concise and consistant story and character arcs.
My main problem with SG-1, was that it perpetually escalated the main threat or villain to ridiculous levels; Apophis was alright, but then after him it was Literally Satan, and then a half-Gou'ald half-ascended super-devil, and then indestructable space legos, and then the most OP bullshit space mormons at the end.
Atlantis had much better threats, while the Wraith were threatening and difficult to overcome, they did have weaknesses that allowed stories to develop (slow space travel, periods of dormancy, and tribalistic rivalries between the hives). The Asuran Replicators got a bit OP though and then at the end I don't know where they were going with the "evil" Asgard but at that point the SciFi was rebranded and wanting to run Wrasslin' anyway.
But in any case, SG-1 developed a great universe, and had things like the Gou'ald System Lords and the Tok'Ra, which could've made for some top-tier arcs, but all of that potential with those factions was tossed out the window constantly to make room for some Super Villian of the season. Only silver lining was they kept Ba'al alive until the capping of the franchise.
SGA Season 3 is the best single season of Stargate. SG1 Season 4 is the next best.
I liked the first season with the remote/cut-off feeling
the rest is ok but I hated Momoa's character
agree
SG1 leveled up both Earth's tech and the villains too much and it just got ridiculous after around season 6/7
one thing I would like to see were there ever a reboot would be to just stick with the Goa'uld but have Earth much more gradually come to their attention and flesh out what the Goa'uld controlled worlds are like
OPEN THE IRIS
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOULLLDD
real niggas go for the yellow ones
Yu was great fun.
They made him into the "good" system lord by just having him be senile and aggressively neutral.
Hop in, dude
