It's a good movie, but not a great movie. There's a little bit of plot, but it doesn't really show up until nearly the third act. There's some really great acting from Leo, Pitt and a lot of the supporting cast (the scene with Tate watching her own movie in the theater was actually pretty sad and touching). Really good visual production. Cliff has apparently become user's new throwback masculine pastiche obsession.
Overall I'd give it 6.5/10.

People who claim there wasn't a plot are absolutely retarded and didn't watch the actual movie. It's about an insecure film star being told he's passed his prime that's on a journey of reclaiming his glory and fame. Watch the movie and quit listening to morons on the Internet.

I wanted to watch something that actually felt like a movie.

I highly doubt she's getting much of a pay for a supporting role that got 45 seconds of screentime. Leo and Brad will be getting more royalties than anyone in this film.

I like Tarantino, the 60s, Im interested in old school Hollywood stuff, I enjoy classic cars, I dont know man, I thought I would have a nice couple of hours and I did.

There's a complete character arc and an end goal stated by the main character in the beginning of the film that is achieved at the end of it after a series of events which lead to that point.

I went to see it with my dad with little knowledge of what the film was about because I enjoy Tarantino movies and spending time with my father.
