I work at WalMart and it's great if you do less than 20 hours a week and go to college

The engines and airframe could have been made compatible, the problem was weight distribution.
They would have had to raise the plane in order to accommodate the new, larger engines while maintaining the intended centre of gravity, which would have been a ton of work. Instead they opted to move the engines forward, which shifted the CoG backwards. They realized this could lead to dangerous stall characteristics, so they installed software that would automatically push the nose down if it detected a stall. The problem is they didn't tell pilots about it and used their political pull to have the regulations not require pilots re-certify as though it were a new aircraft type (in spite of the software changes and different handling characteristics).
Then the software ended up delivering false positives, so it would repeatedly push the nose down when there was no danger of a stall occurring. Since pilots weren't aware of the new software and didn't know how to shut it off, it resulted in the plane essentially crashing itself twice.

My company does business with a private drug company and we recently had to update our tables to reflect their new prices they were charging. One drug in particular went from about 200$ a dose, to over 4000$. Idk anything about this drug, maybe whatever chemical in it was in short supply, or maybe the global market was doing some adjusting but I just found it astounding. The legal drug business in the us is insane.
