Because there's more than just the Champions League on tonight.
Ten matches across the EFL this evening have all manner of permutations for the three divisions.
In the Championship, Fulham will go up as champions if they better Bournemouth's result at Swansea; the Cherries would be almost guaranteed promotion if they win in Wales and Nottingham Forest lose in West London. Already relegated Barnsley and midtable Blackpool complete the games in the second tier.
In League One, Wigan Athletic need just a point against under-achieving Portsmouth to go up, Rotherham United will all but guarantee promotion if they win at Sunderland and Fleetwood Town could relegate both Doncaster Rovers and AFC Wimbledon by defeating Sheffield Wednesday who need a win to go back into the play-off spots.
Finally, Forest Green Rovers will be all but confirmed as League Two champions if they beat play-off chasing Swindon Town, Exeter City will be promoted if they beat Barrow and both Mansfield Town and Sutton United can boost their top 7 hopes with wins against Stevenage and Crawley Town respectively.
All games kick-off at 7:45pm UK time. Coverage of Fulham v Nottingham Forest is on Sky Sports Football from 7:30pm with Barnsley v Blackpool on the Red Button. I don't know why the Swansea game isn't on the Red Button.

Dunno if I should get an away ticket for QPR on friday night. I'm a Blade in London and I've been before but apparently our away following is top to bottom coked up morons who make the experience shite these days.

Swans could be promotion candidates next year if they play like this all season long. Took Russell Martin long enough to get them going.

The Asbaghi sacking was shocking but not completely unexpected. Which makes it worse, I guess.
Amazingly great owners by the way, don't think I can recall another set who managed to have two clubs relegated in two different countries in the same season. Beggars belief.
