No

did the old women meet up and rub their old dry coochies together in the end? I can't remember

No it sucked.

Only virtually

Overrated. Entire History of You was the best episode.

Pretty cool

a hetrosexual couple would make it better tho

Mackenzie Davis is adorable in this. Not much draw to the episode once the simulation is revealed.

Wouldn't it be funny if you could go to Balamb Garden haha

>Entire History of You
Why do you like pain of cuckery?

they digitally buffed their hamsters together.

You misspelled Fifteen Million Merits.
Entire show peaked in the first episode, what a scam.

Bradbury for zoomer retards would be giving this show too much credit

It would have been more poignant and had a better message if he was wrong about her cheating and his paranoia and lack of trust fucked up a good relationship.

DUDE THE 80'S!!!!

Why do basedboys love this decade so much

White Bear, White Christmas, Hated in the Nation, and Metalhead are the best episodes of Black Mirror and that's a fucking fact.

I think it the best BM episode besides nosedive and f.m. merits

Yea Forums hates it because they've never experienced true love and/or lack empathy for homosexuals because their brains have been poisoned by /pol/ memes

God tier
> White Christmas

High tier

That episode really snuck up on me with the feels. Just wanted to chill and watch some sci-fi shit, and I got hit hard instead.

It was ruined by the obvious and lurid "muh interracial lesbians" angle, but it's one of the best instances of "80's nostalgia" because of the mid-episode twist of it all being a simulation. Thus, it's impossible to be too on-the-nose with the aesthetic. It's a theme park. Most shows and movies get the 80's utterly wrong and come off too heavy handed. This episode is basically built on it.

Jacobu desu?

My favorite episode of the series desu

Also, we'll never know this, but I'd be curious how many faggots had never heard "Heaven is a Place on Earth" by Belinda Carlisle before this episode.

No

The last good Clint Mansell soundtrack

She was hotter in Martian.

there are at least 25 episodes of twin peaks alone that are better than it

He always has a ton of mediocre shit in between his great work. Look at what he put out between Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain and there are some vidya soundtracks in his discography, which anyone ought to have the good sense to publish under a pseudonym (especially when one of them is Mass Effect 3). Getting this much stink on you must fuck a guy's mojo up.

>OI M8 WOT IF TWO LEZZIES
>NO HOLD ON A MINUTE LISTEN
>THESE DYKES ROIGHT WOT IF THEY LIVED TOGETHER IN VIRTUAL REALITY ACROSS TIME
>BLOODY MENTAL INNIT

I really enjoyed it, the production notes are fun to read especially the ones dealing with spoilers. Afterward I watched John Hughes movies.

HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH

Queers should be exectuted

>lads, lads, lads.. by jove i've got it..
>wot if...
>VR time-traveling interracial lezbeans
>innit?

>/pol/ memes
I despise faggots/queers/trans filth because they've pushed to the point where their faggoty is unavoidable and its still not enough for them. Lgbt scum who cant keep it to themselves need the rope.

Black Mirror is so incredibly lazy from a scifi point of view. They take good premises and don't think about them for a single second. Everyone is always reacting to the tech as you'd expect any retard would at the mention of it. Copying consciousness, digitized memory, that sort of shit would have insane consequences and they don't even begin to touch on that.

Now relate that to OP's post. I'd love to see you try.

>we're going to force you to accept us

promise? goodbye incel status!

i dont get why people like that episode so much
so what, its virtual heaven for dead people, hows that an interesting concept?

A hundred times yes

What the fuck was up with the last season?

Complete trash!

yes

Attached: dp36j33qgjn01.jpg (596x598, 163K)

Plus it did the typical died right after your consciousness was transferred/copied? and didn't go into that at all. People liked it because it allows them to start thinking of heaven without feeling like complete retards, which they still are.

for some people it seems to be the case

These, whole show is incredibly overrated, especially outside the first three seasons.

not even close
it might be the worst episode of black mirror, though

Attached: 1565728418517.jpg (720x540, 131K)

I'd switch San Junipero and Hated in the Nation, but beside that, seems pretty right., beside USS Callister, this episode had the look of a fun one but ended up with so many shit inconsistencies and that fucking Deus Ex Machina ending was some of the worst fucking bullshit in this entire serie.

First episode was the pig fucking one, FMM was the second.

I really love when Mentally Ill people try to convince me that there's something wrong with me. It's like taking fitness advice from an obese person.

>I just wanted to chill and watch some sci-fi shit
> so I watched Black Mirror

Nigga you did this to yourself. the show's great, but it's a fucking joy killer. San Junipero (and to some extent, Nosedive) are the only episodes I found to have a remotely happy ending. but I haven't watched everything yet.

go back faggot enabler.

>Interracial relationship
>LGBTQRSTUV++ themes
>80s nostalgia
>Relatively straightforward plot (no EPIK TWEEST with 30 seconds to go like a lot of other episodes)
>Happy ending (particularly when contrasted with the two episodes either side of it)
It's like Brooker said 'fuck it, I just want to win an Emmy, lets load it with as much awardbait as possible'

No.

>lol interracial lesbians: the episode
western dogs absolutely blow their load the second you show interracial lbgtquia niggershit

You all forget she's got a husband and a family she's cucking and we're all suposed to be like "YAAAAAAAAAY! YOU GO GIRL!"

what?
The white one was a vegetable who was gonna marry a hospital nurse purely so she could be euthanised and sent into the VR world
The black one's husband and daughter were both dead.

The only reason this episode is so fondly remembered is because of its soundtrack she being the first and one of the only black mirror episodes with a positive ending

actually pretty based list, only change id make would be to move USS callister to high tier but i can see the reasoning behind putting it into fun tier

When I watch Nosedive, the ending seemed positive to me. which speaks volume about positivity in Black Mirror

If it wasn't LGBT-themed it wouldn't be as popular as it is.

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 65K)

Meh that's too on the nose of "hurr technology bad"

The message with how it was laid out was a lot more naunced. Yeah, he was right. The technology proved it and in today's world he might have never found out. But was his life better for it? Would the entire world be better if everyone had access to the full truth?

>being this pleb
The entire point of the episode was that they locked themselves out of heaven because they were too attached to the material world.
It's like a Gnostic nightmare

It's never an actual depiction of the 80s with these nostalgia driven basedfests though. It's a nostalgia for a hyperreal past which never existed. It's pop culture inventing it's own easily packaged and easily consumed history

FFM and White Christmas is where the show peaked

It's just at the downfall of peak civilization (that is to say, peak white society) so they have faggots and the start of that diversity and acceptance shit but still have the comfort of the postwar peak

>White Bear higher than Shut Up And Dance
>"boring" as criteria for putting Arkabgel so low
You wot

>San junipero in god
>Hated in the nation anywhere but shit tier
>Crocodile anywhere but shit
>Man against fire anywhere but shit
>Hang the DJ anywhere but shit
>putting my titcow waifu Hayley Atwell anywhere below mid

The National Anthem was the best episode, solely becuase it wasn't sci-fi in the way you usually imagine. It happened in an entirely real setting, but still had techno-skepticism at its core.

Everything else comes across as "dude smartphone bad, connect with real people instead" thanks to it being overplayed and turned up to 11. The first episode was on point criticism.

The one with the pedo kid in it was good too, but the troll face ruined it a bit.

The main problem I have with this show is there's absolutely no rewatchability once i've seen an episode. Doesn't help that so many of them are so fucking bleak.
I can watch classic episodes of the Twilight Zone again and again even though I know the twist's coming but the motivation to rewatch BM just isn't there.

>It happened in an entirely real setting, but still had techno-skepticism at its core.
Did it? Didn't seem so

Yes on both counts. There was no future tech in it and the techno-skepticism was expressed through the twist ending, that the princess was released a full hour before the livestream began and everyone was glued to the tv thanks to a sick and degenerate obsessive attitude towards vulgarity. Perhaps to say it was media-skeptic is more appropriate, but it wasn't just a thriller/mystery, it definitely had good ol' Black Mirror ethics at its heart.

>Fifteen Million Merits
Can someone explain this to me? I have personal reasons to dislike rape and mind break etc. but ignoring that I'm not sure what would make it stand out? The society was too rudimentary to make the social commentary stick for me and plot-wise not much happens. Especially considering White Bear is a tier below I'd be curious to hear Yea Forumss reasoning.

Yes

Dissent is impossible. Revolution is impossible. Change is impossible. You will continue living a meaningless life with no sense of worth and without ever understanding what the actual fuck it is you are doing. But if one day, you decide to actually rise up, to try and fucking do something, to change something, the systems in place are specifically designed to ingurgitate you. You become like a Che Guevara T-shirt sold by the gap. Just enough dissent to let people believe they have the right and freedom to think for themselves, but distributed in a safe, non-threathening way, so it'll never become a real danger.

At least that's what I think the point of this episode was.

>"No"
>A SEXUAL MINORITY IN A FILM? NOT FOR ME! LARPING AS LE TOXIC 60S BULLY RETARD IS SO EPIC!!!!

Attached: soyjack2.png (454x520, 11K)

>euthanasia is awesome!
>yay homosexuality!
>go interracial couples even when the sex is sterile!
>fuck Christians!
>bdsm is so cool!
>omg the 80s!

Absolutely Satanic.

That does help, thanks user.

I'm gonna see your dick

Attached: Georgina.jpg (1777x944, 71K)

The fact that it's all a simulation actually mitigates this. I don't actually mind that aspect of it, although you're absolutely right about pretty much every other bit of 80's nostalgia. The real flaw of the episode is it's lurid interracial cross-generational lesbo pandering.

Its an evil anti theistic episode

>dude we can make your entire personality from some DNA even though your personalities is defined by your life experiences and memories and DNA is just your genes hehehe
The fundamental basis of USS Callister is so fucking retarded I'm amazed it got produced.

el commodore de las americos ogros......

Waldo was the best. It's about the uncomfortable truth that beloved characters are more important than people.
It only looks derivative now because it came out before the 2016 election.

good shit

>80's nostalgia
>"all women are secretly lesbians and should leave their families."
>Good

No you fucking faggot.

This was literally lesbian propaganda

user thats just capitalism

>present a transhumanist nightmare with horrible implications
>Tumblr thinks it's heartwarming because lesibians

the only one that actually ended kind of comfy.

Hang the DJ had a fairly happy ending.

im a couple seasons behind.

Pretty much encapsulates our society desu

Yes

>Tumblr
I don't think that's even a thing anymore. Verizon's selling it for scraps after spending a fortune on it, then banning porn for some reason which was nearly 80% of the site's traffic.

fuck yourself

No

Yes. It's also one of the best representations of the 80's made in modern TV / film.

what was comfy about it? do you realize the ending was supposed to be bad and not happy?

Bad how? Because of the masochists club thing?

No

The 80's were upbeat and positive, culturally.

youtube.com/watch?v=l9ml3nyww80

OP here, weighing in after alot of homophobic replies. First let me say I hate fags and trannies as much as the next guy here, probably mostly due to the gay mafia shoving their shit in our brains wherever we look around. But I can spot a jewish pro-gay propaganda when I see one, and this just didn't seem like it. It was an honest potrayal of a young couple falling in love who just happen to be gay, rather than LOOK IT'S A GAY COUPLE IT'S PERFECTLY NORMAL SEE YOU SHOULD STOP BEING A HOMOPHOBE. If anything, their love was everything but normal given the VR background and the black girl's marital status. My point is, it's quite irrelevant to discredit a beautifully written and filmed episode full of life and with an incredible atmosphere due to the couple being both women. It wouldn't have made any difference if it was a BG couple, because that really wasn't the point of the episode and a lot of people here seem to have missed that.

It was before the Boomers took over. The prior generations were still trying to make us gay-happy. The Boomers started with eternal gay-angry and we've been trapped by it ever since.

>dies anyway when the server crashes

So... does it count as gay or not?
They say that if you have to ask, then yes it's gay.
