It's not without its flaws, but compared to most trash that gets seralised, especially capeshit, it is good.

There are definitely some weak links in the chain. A couple of really trite plot contrivances. Unused plot strands and unused characters. But overall it's a nice cynical/comedic take on superheros being in the real world.

The Seven all seem to some basic level super strength going on. A-Train needs to have it or he would have burst into pulp too when he hit Robin, and even Starlight is able to tank .50 cal rounds and lift cars.

for me that part of the story ended, but you also have the whole military/political part that is still going on

Planes come with life vests for every passenger in case of emergency crashing into water. He could’ve told them to all strap in to one, fly like 2-3 people at a time to a safe drop distance into the water and signaled authorities to come by. At least they would’ve been alive. It’s obvious the only reason he bailed was because he wanted to do the bare minimum to maintain his image.
