For every one of the top-tier character interactions (of which Golden Age has the most, I'll admit) there's several chapters of Griffith doing shit I don't give 2 fucks about. Same reason I don't like the Millenium Falcon arc, when Griffith is fine and happy and operating at full capacity he's by far the least interesting thing about the story.
