20 years ago, I moved to the south of the US from Germany. The only racists I ever met were all black. It was confusing for me to understand as a kid why black people, even children, were always hating on white people while I was being nice to everyone. We had lots of foreign students in my elementary school (arabs, slavs, chinese, african, german, etc) and the only students who were dicks or racist were the black kids. Those kids' parents should be beaten with goddamn belts

It wasn't necessarily about racism, it was about being a goddamn asshole of a person to others. Black kids in my school had no proper upbringing. My mom used to beat the fuck out of me if I did something wrong but she also encouraged me to be a good person and treat others the way I like to be treated. She always told me education was essential to having a better life. Fuck all that "black kids have no dads" bullshit. I didn't have one either and was not only good in school but also nice and welcoming to everyone
