Watching LOST for the first time right now, it was him, right? The bald old dude with the knives? I'd fucking bet my balls that he's the bad guy in this
Watching LOST for the first time right now, it was him, right? The bald old dude with the knives...
Yeah, sorta. The actor that plays him ends up being the bad guy but its not really the same character. He's like posessed or some shit. It's been awhile, and the show doesn't really make a lot of sense. Expect a lot of questions to never get fully answered, or if they do they just open up more questions.
Someone post the Kate episode vertical.
pro tip:
drop the show after season 3
I wish I did this.
Wrong. The character dies and gets possessed by the black smoke. After that John is gone.
Yes.
You guys do realize that OP is stating that Locke is the one that sabotaged the plane and made it crash, right?
Cause you all are replied like ignorant assholes and assumed OP meant Locke was the villain for 6 seasons and spoiled the show for him like some retards.
Just once I wished Yea Forums would use common sense.
Fuck yourself. This is a verticals thread now.
ha, ur right... oops
No.
>caring about spoiling a tv show
numalesmile.jpg
I'd wager that every question you think you have was answered by the show. But I don't want to foul up the OP's virgin viewing.
I stopped watching at the end of season 1.

KATE EPISODE TIER
Kate
these never fail to make me laugh
THHEYY TOOK MYYYYYYYYYY SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
>WHERE'S THE MONEY, LEBOWSKI!?
>WHERE'S THE MONEY, SHITHEAD!?
Jacob was an asshole
almost all the backstories fucking suck, except sayeed, locke and mr eko.
Post dumb shit.
this was by far the dumbest of shits.
man I really really liked Lost.
POI was the only other show that really hit the same spot even though both shows went iffy after season 3
It's been 10 years and I'm still using "Make you own kind of Music" as my Alarm
I wish the writers would tell us finally what would been the Walt story about. Fuck Puberty hit him hard.
didn't Rose go sort omniscient hermit mode? That's fucking stupid though user.
Also
>Claire above anyone, Kate included
MUH BABY TIER is the worst tier in all the tiers
What a coincidence, I'm watching it for the first time too. On season 1 and it's really good so far.
Walt was a token character, let's be honest.
>implying the writers had a plan at any point
Protip if you coudnt tell the show would be meandering garbage that would never explain things from the first episode alone you should end your life
He absolutely wasn't.
elaborate pls
pure kino
After his abduction, what was his point?
It just one of those things I picked up and if you didn't also I don't want to share the world with you.
yeah? See I think you're full of shit and just LARPing as a smart and insightful cinephile on a mongolian basket weaving forum.
you made it past the 1st episode?
you must be real dull
no its true. I actually posted here on Yea Forums when it aired. If you can find the thread we could see my post where I said that this show will go nowhere and things will never be truly explained.
yeah i'm pretty dumb but even I could figure out that Locke was the bad guy all along by episode 5
>Locke
>Bad Guy
In the last season everything is explained.
You realize that Locke, isn't the bad guy? The later seasons are the smoke monster.
I'm currently watching the second half of episode 5 you daft cunts
>episode 5
>Still commenting on end tier stuff
Okay then.
re the final three seasons really that bad? What's so bad about them?
I wouldn't say it's thaaaat bad, the problem is just that they fail to really find a knot point for all the overbloated lores and strings of narration
some things are just forgotten and completely unsolved, like
No, everything is explained with shitty cop out all encompassing answers.
Why did the Egyptian statue have 4 toes. Why was there a polar bear. Why was there a dinosaur. Why did the Dharma Initiative stamp their logo on sharks?
when was there a fucking dinosaur in the show
Why did people hate Kate so much?
cuz she sucks yo
i hate her stupid "injured bambi" look, it's almost as worth as natalie portman in black swan
Wasn’t the Egyptian statue technically explained?
The island jumps around in time and space, at one point the island was near Egypt (or alternate universe Egypt since I think the statue had 4 toes)
Not that it’s a good explanation
I'm pretty sure I've read an article about all the overbloated misteries and the statue was mentioned as an example of a mistery that was left completely unsolved due to problems with the writing
After the plane crashed it was roaring and thrashing the plane around. Also one other time I think.
I just watched that episode yesterday evening and it was the smoke monster
"My bad"
D U R N
They can't stand attractive women.
i bet you watch on 1.5 speed and play on your phone at the same time
POST KATE
That doesn't sound too bad. Answers to mysteries are rarely satisfying.
Yeah, if you think you like that, go for it. I watched the show from the first time it aired and it's not like I felt cheated or anything, it just wasn't 100% satisfying.
Desmond was always in the KINO episodes. He got done dirty at the end by JJ and the hacks
Season 4 is the best season you turbopleb
This Ï„bh
extremely irritating conflux of attractiveness, sluttiness, self-centeredness, malevolence, prominence in the plot, aimlessness of her character arc
>Jpg distortion
Ew.
For the writers.
Crash the plot with no survivors.
Kind of the bad guy after he pulls a Jesus.
Put charlie in ok, if it wasnt for his underwater episode he'd be in kate tier
only 6th is bad. 4th is close to 1-3, 5th is good
We all agree that Man in Black did nothing wrong and Jacob is the true villain of the series right?
It was Jesus. But they name him Jacob.
i actually did this onces kate got caught by the others i lost interest
he sabotaged the plane because he wanted to crash at the island that make him able to walk again
Brainlet opinion
>drop LOST after season 3
Patrician opinion
>watch the later seasons only to laugh about them on Yea Forums and still apreciating them for allowing you to spend more time with your favorite characters
Yes. All MiB wanted was to be free. MiB never said he will ruin the world. Everyone just took Jacob's word for it. Jacob himself killed Sayid's wife.
Don't forget
>lol I make people's ships crash on this island and watch them try to survive as part of some sort of twisted experiment to see if humanity is inherently sinful because I believe they aren't.
>I've been doing this for centuries and every single time I've been proven wrong, but THIS time...
According to critics, the finale is the worst episode of any tv show
Best one.
Christian literally fucking spells it out whats happening and where are they now at the very end to Jack holy fuck how can people be so fucking retarded
>people hate it because they're too stupid to understand it
The last season was straight up silly, but literally everything was explained.
Holy cringe, season 4 is great and 5 is utter kino
Drop it after the pilot
The rest of y'all know
He's right OP
How exatcly did a single boat destroyd that big ass statue
Cop out situation
Yeah they all ded
How is it dumb? Its to say their was an ancient civilization on the island thousands of years ago. Not everything needs explaining you idiots. Every mystery gets solved in a way.
I will never forgive Lindelof for what he did to my boy John! He was special!
At some point they all die, as everyone does. They end up in purgatory. For example, Jack dies at the end of Lost. He then goes to purgatory. Which is a timeless space. They all find each other there and learn to move on. That's the flash-sideways in the final season.
>Missing out on The Constant
>Missing out on Ab Aeterno
>Missing out on The Incident
>Missing out on The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham
4 and 5 are pure kino and usually only hated if you hate sci-fi. Its amazing how good those two seasons are, especially 5, God damn they don't make TV like that anymore.
There was a polar bear and shark logo cause Dharma were experimenting on different animals in regards to the electromagnestism on the island.
he was the chosen one but he lost faith and the island punished him for it
How could MIB appear as Christian on the ship if he cannot leave the island?
?
When Michael died.
>"Locke, my dude, don't kill yourself."
>"I'm gon kill myself."
>"No, ples, don't kill urself."
>"Ok, I'm not gon kill myself."
>"Cool."
>*kills Locke
To this day, not a single plot twist came close to the full blown absurdity of that one. Not a single one.
Or atleast season 4. Finishing this will be majorly dissapointing.
I hate that this is how they killed one of the best characters on the show.
Jack was a moody little bitch
One of Cuse/Lindelof can't remember which once said that the answer to every mystery is just 'cause they were', they don't needan explanation.
'Why was Walt special?' Because he was. No explanation needed, he just was.
'Why were the numbers cursed?' Because they were. They're cursed numbers. Not everything needs explaining.
'Why did the whispers make people who died halfway round the world become whispers on an island?' Because they did.
Its a lazy copout they came up with, but its better than nothing. Just watch the show and think 'the hole turns people into a smoke monster cause it does'.
Depends. A lot of fans love the finale. If you watched it for characters over the mysteries it wrapped up the characters nicely.
lol no
He was just cruelly tricked by MiB by believing so much that he was special
This. I think people hated it also because they were expecting their theories to be fulfilled and shit.
his hatch button pushing responsibility was real
he cucked out on it
The actress is attractive but her acting and back story are suckass
Thank you, user
Cumberbatchs Sherlock vs Lost
which is the dumbest show ever?
Imagine if LOST, simillar to Breaking Bad, got better and better with each season. What could have been.
But did for the first 5 seasons. 1-2 are amazing, back half of 3 is kino, and 4-5 are pure crack. 6 is weaker but still okay.
Can you accept the ending considering how mental it all got
was ok to me
GOAT L O S T comic
I prefer the later seasons mainly because they had less episodes so less filler.
ppl praise s3 but forget Nicky and Paulo, and that episode was at least decently written and served a porpouse (what the other survivors did while the protagonists went on adventures). The whole jack/sawyer/kate captured episodes are a chore to sit through
Thats why 4 and 5 are the best. Shorter seasons with no filler.
Then why the fuck did you start a thread? in Yea Forums of all places?
Lost memes are what made this board great once
They all died, eventually (not with the plane crash since Aaron is there). It doesn't explain why they chose to do a whole sideplot when they could've focused on the stuff going down in the island. Those non-flashbacks pretty much ruined s6.
Damn, this was so bad I completely forgot erased it from my memory
>'Why was Walt special?'
They tried to explain it on one of those DVD extra Hurley skits, you're better off not watching them because the explanation makes less sense and ruins the whole point of the finale
this, 5 is the best season, 4 is close second
