I've never seen a James Bond film, what are some good ones to start with?
Cameron Morris
Aaron Ramirez
Just start with the first one and watch all of them
Gavin Lewis
Casino Royale is by far the best
That being said, it's best to start off with the entire Connery run just to get a feel for the series
Charles Brooks
Goldeneye or Goldfinger probably
Adrian Jenkins
Man with the golden gun is my fav
Luis James
Quantum of Solace
Luis Morgan
Watch the first 3 films. Beyond that it's up to you and pick and choose.
Easton Morris
Goldfinger
Chase Rodriguez
Goldfingah
Hudson Robinson
Entry level is Casino Royale and Goldeneye. If you have a tolerance for older movies, you'll like From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and The Spy Who Loved Me. If you like camp, try You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, The Man With the Golden Gun and Octopussy. True kino is On Her Majesty's Secret Service, For Your Eyes Only and The Living Daylights. But there's really only a small handful of actual bad ones, in the scope of how many films there are.
William Martinez
The spy who loved me.
Cooper Walker
I'm a little bias because I grew up with Pierce Brosnan 007, so I'd say watch his films first (you can skip Die Another Day) and then watch Casino Royale, which is probably my favorite film. It, QoS, and Skyfall are just great.
I watched The World Is Not Enough today and I really liked it.
Adam Bennett
Casino Royale
Goldeneye
From Russia With Love.
Grayson Campbell
Live and Let Die for shark gun perfection
Ian Gonzalez
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
Loiscence to Kill
The Living Daylights
Goldeneye
Casino Royal
are the only good-good ones
Moonraker, Tomorrow Never Dies and Skyfall are lesser kino, but still good. Particularly the first two.
Henry Phillips
Live and let die.
Alexander Morgan
Start with the first 4 movies (Thunderball is especially good). Skip You Only Live Twice and Diamonds are Forever. If you want a fever dream then watch On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Live and Let Die, Man With the Golden Gun, Spy Who Loved Me and Octopussy are the good Roger Moore ones (the others can be skipped, though View to a Kill does have Christopher Walken as the villain so that almost makes up for Moore being way too old for the role by that point).
Living Daylights and Licence to Kill are top tier kino (Dalton is best Bond). Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies are good, skip the other Brosnan ones. Casino Royale is kino, Quantum of Solace is a boring plot filmed like the Bourne Supremacy, Skyfall is good, Spectre was well directed but had a horrible script.

Matthew Young

Tyler Cruz
the one where baron semidi is in it and all the black people in Harlem are trying to kill bond.
Carter Harris
>Dalton is best Bond
based
Easton Lewis
>Skip You Only Live Twice and Diamonds are Forever
>skip the other Brosnan ones
>Casino Royale is kino
Not even knowing that Dalton was the best Bond can make up for this travesty

License To Sneed
Luke Wood
Let me be frank: Dr. No was always the only Bond movie worth watching. You can ignore all the rest.
If you're bored and have time to spare you can watch Goldeneye and Moonraker. If you watch only these three you'll be able to walk away and not think Bond movies are complete dogshit. Watch any more and you're fucked.
Ryan Gomez
>Moonraker
>not dogshit
This user right here is what we call a brainlet or retard
Zachary Morales
Yeah, it's a good plebfilter.
Gabriel Ramirez
Psst. They all suck.
Daniel Kelly
Nah, it's camp at its worst. It's the reason people shit on Roger Moore and his fans, like you.
Josiah King
GOD TIER
Brosnan
HIGH TIER
Connory
AVERAGE TIER
Craig
Moore
LOW TIER
Dalton
SHIT TIER
Lazenby
Dominic Bennett
It's an amazing movie.
>opening scene plane jump
>La, Venice, France, Brazil, Space (might be forgetting one)
>Q-watch and two Q-boats
>Jaws
>battle in the cablelift
>Boat chase in Brazil
>Space station and Space battle
>Bond movie with the Best John Barry soundtrack
>...
The list goes on and on. I'm not really a Moore fan, But Moonraker is top three for me most definitely.
Leo Hill
Tomorrow Never Dies is better than Goldeneye
Jeremiah Jenkins
Watch Connery and Dalton's.
Caleb Morales
Look at this idiot
Jaxson Rivera
Damn, this handsome little white boy be BASED
Angel Rogers
Goldeneye is the best movie, Roger Moore makes the most fun movies, the rest are ok, daniel craig isn't james bond.
Joshua Hill
This frog is both french and correct.
Noah Cox
just don't watch any of the pozzed grimdark recent ones. they are all power fantasy trash, lowbrow versions of the classic Hitchcock caper. but enjoyable up to and including the Architect's tenure
Daniel Edwards
there's one where a bunch of people read a picture book titled 'what else is new in the world of alzheimers and dementia' and very meaningfully misinterpret all of the images then get extremely confused and upset and run around screaming about spray painting animals indescribably painful to watch but very true to life in my honest opinion
Hunter Cooper
The Notebook?
Jace Reyes
Dalton > Connery > Lazenby = Brosnan > Craig = Moore
Joseph Evans
>Casino Royale is by far the best
Joseph Cook
I think Thunderball suffers in its climax by dragging the big underwater set piece out. The underwater filming technology was revolutionary at the time, but for modern viewing it doesn't impress as much as it hurts the pacing.
Nathan Gonzalez
I'm sure he means this one
Jeremiah Watson
Saw it a month or two ago. I think it aged remarkably well and is pretty fast paced considering the time it came out. It got criticism when it was released, because of the reason you stated. But I think it's very impressive. Pretty violent too.
Asher Bailey
the first four are all pretty solid kinos. Those are the only ones I've seen though
From Russia With Love > Dr. No > Goldfinger > Thunderball
Noah Reyes
Also: I want my next bond to have chesthair again. No more beefcake Bond.
Angel Wood
They're all pretty self-contained for the most part. I do recommend watching the first few films to understand their footprint in popular culture; they still hold up as some of the best anyway.
Jaxon Davis
God Tier
Brosnan
Connery
High Tier
Dalton
Lazenby
Average Tier
Moore
Not James Bond Movies Tier
Craig
Bond is a white man with dark features. Daniel Craig is a blonde and a pussy. Sean "give a woman a nice slap" to Daniel "refugees welcome" Craig.
Brody Harris
Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's certainly been a lot longer ago for me, so my recollection is hazier, but my impression is that, while the action is perfectly snappy, it's all spectacle and the fight puts a halt to the forward motion of the plot for a long time.
Carter Brown
Craig is the worst Bond. His films have been influenced too much by Bourne films. All of his flicks are just generic violent spy films without any charm or humor.
Josiah Jones
This guy bond burgers
Henry Adams
Goldeneye and skyfall are the only ones worth your time
Josiah Foster
>and skyfall are the only ones worth your time
Chase Myers
>True kino is On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Wrong. OHMSS is the worst one until Brosnan's shit
Owen Martin
>Skip You Only Live Twice
So this is the power of the plebian
William Thomas
At least those movies are interesting. Saw all of the Daniel Craig ones, loved them. Tried to watch the old series and couldn't bear one through to the end
Elijah Brown
genuinely one of my favourite movies
