I'm struggling to understand if the whole trans/thousand_gender stuff is really just a meme like hippies in the 60's or something that is going to become common place. In 200 years, are we going to look back at 2010's HRT like we do with "medical" blood-letting. Will we have a more effective way of editing our body or have a technique that will fix whatever is causing gender dysphoria.
