I think you could easily separate exercise routines into hour blocks ever day. Maybe something like:
Yoga - morning
Lifting - afternoon
Running or other cardio: evening

You can have a fast 45-minute weight workout (with a 10-15min warm up on the bike or treadmill) but you still need to factor in the drive back and forth to the gym, shower afterward. That's easily 2 hours right there.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that's only a real danger if you're doing bodybuilder levels of roids. For actors, being lean and ripped is 90% of the look on camera. For example Chris Hemsworth probably isn't nearly as big as he appears to be on camera as Thor. It's mostly about being super lean so everything pops.
