I probably don't have one. I have favorite planets (Mon Calamari, Felucia), favorite aspects of the mythos (The Force, all the "magic that's totally not magic"), but I'm not big on most of the characters. It's sort of ensemble and I think it works that way.

As I recall, Fett was always supposed to be a guy in Mandalorian armour rather than one himself, so it was probably coming at some point.
However Traviss deciding to alienate vast swathes of the customers for the sake of her donut steeles probably made Lucas bump it up the schedule.
