Because it's just not that interesting from a German perspective, the Brits had a massive panic attack about this battleship doing damage to their convoys, there are stakes of national importance going on. The Bismarck on the other hand sinks Hood, damages PoW and Suffolk somehow loses it, then nothing happens for 2 days until it gets spotted again, gets bombed, can't turn, gets raped to fuck and the crew scuttle it to not give the RN any satisfaction. It could work with a film like Tora! Tora! Tora! where both sides are going on but not as a purely German perspective
90% of the RN was inadequate to deal with it, only the Rodney and King George V's could really take it on, especially before the torpedo jammed the rudder
