Are you ready for some new War on Terror kino from A24?
Are you ready for some new War on Terror kino from A24?
glorifying wars of zionist power
>Let's redo that movie casualties of war
looks like cringe, not kino
My boy is there, but it doesn't look very good desu
If the parts of puzzle functions right, whole thing could be able to throw heavy punch. It feels like the embodiment of testimony on moral dilemma by De Palma. I say it’s worth giving a shot.
Can a twink like Nat Wolff realistically portray a squaddie?
> squaddies are alpha males meme
man the military is full of fucking overcompensating dorks and incels (ESPECIALLY infantry), he can not just "realistically portray" he is a perfect fit.
>another iraq war flick
Christ, doesn’t it get boring? I don’t want to watch another movie about some college faggot crying because he shot a violent shepherd in the desert
>A24
Every Iraq movie looks like it's shot on the same cheap sets by the same DP. Can't they make something interesting for once?
why is this conflict so forgettable that no matter how talented actors are or how good the technology is, we cannot make kino about the current wars? Vietnam and the World Wars gave us kino. Even the conflicts in the Balkans and Falklands have given us kino. What has gone wrong?
Thank you. Its so true. Normies don't understand.
generation kill was good tho
What films are there about the Falklands?
Some Argentinian production?
What's the narrative in the current conflicts?
Because it was a cultureless war. There was no generation defined by it like any other war worth remembering.
Because it’s shit and boring
>War on Terror kino
>Not directed by Kathryn Bigelow
lol no thanks
It doesn't look very good for an A24 film.
What's some Balkan Wars kino?
This guy knows
>What's some Balkan Wars kino?
Underground is pretty much god tier
It’s Afghan you sperglord
Balkan Wars kino:
Underground (Podzemlje)
No Man's Land (Nikogarsnja zemlja)
The Load (Teret)
Men Don't Cry (Muskarci ne placu)
Balkan Wars cringe:
In the Land of Blood and Honey by the bitch queen Angelina Jolie who is utterly retarded and has aids.
Oh, you meant Balkan-made kino. Yeah, I've only watched No Man's Land and that shit was great.
I thought the guy was talking about English language films, and I couldn't think of any.
I don't know man I've always been kind of fascinated by the fact that there are thousands of dusty roads and alleyways in Afghanistan where the only motorized vehicle to ever run on them came from thousands of miles away with a 50 cal mounted on them.
>A24
>Zionists start war
>Make movies condemning it
I don't know who's Jewing who anymore.
Shoo Ahmed
Are you legitimately retarded?
Why is he so happy about it?
Generation Kill may nail down the banter, the characters and culture but it’s far from kino. Go back and rewatch it. The production, the sets and props all come of pretty amateur and hastily made.
Oh wow it's in Afghanistan, big deal. No excuse to put le grim war filter on it for the thousandth time and shoot the entire movie in mediums and close ups so you can hide how shit your sets are.
>Alekander Skarsgard
There better be some Boyardee
>Join the Army
>Get sad when you kill people
LMAO
>get sad when you kill brownies
that's even worse LOL
Is it common knowledge that Israel egged America to invade the Middle East to help further Israeli interests? Saddam was a thorn in Israel's side, after all.
>dude US military are the bad guys
You guys should be more like Trombley
No
Hello mossad jewllywood shill. How's your day because i just watched triumph of des willens and i hate you
MORE LIKE TROMBLEY!
THIS IS NOW A GENERATION KILL THREAD
>Nat Wolff
Stop putting this faggot and his faggot brother in everything please and THANKS
>he needs good sets and props to have a real kino feel
pleb.
Theres Falklands Kino?
Balkan Kino: Pretty Village Pretty Flame
>A24
He was also a thorn in Assad and Iran’s side. They did it!
>wah wah we killed a kid
how fucking boring and unoriginal
I'd rather watch an hour of gun cam footage
>Three tickets for me, my wife and my wife’s son for the newest A24-produced, genre-redefining, trope-subverting, atmospheric, dark and eerie, emotionally draining, gut wrenching, aesthetically heavy craft by post-horror auteur with an arthouse edge, dread-inducing, suspenseful build up with strong character development and gradual feeling of escalation, bone-chilling slow burn with “say more with less” approach and soul-shaking, blood-curdling, skin-crawling and nerve-wracking exercise in persistently looming dread where tension and anxiety permeates every frame as movie reaches its nail-biting, jaw-clenching and paranoia-inducing final climax, free of any cheap gore, cartoonish CGI or infantile jumpscares horror film, please.
