Volcano plot was nice and different, after that it went down the shitter. Ever since i played the JP sega game as a kid, I always wondered if Isla Nublar really had an active volcano, and if it'd ever blow its top.

tired of the evil corpo plot, rest of the movie after the island rescue should really be about people trying to integrate dinosaurs and failing. Imagine well meaning rescue workers trying their best to wrangle a goddamn T-rex then deciding that it's not worth it, just put it down.

Instead they're saving the "dinosaurs on mainland" plot for the 3rd movie.

And even then, she was hotter in JW.

I think that I came up with the plot to this movie when I was like 10 playing with my JP toys.

You are correct in that raptors got the crew of the ship but that scene was cut from the final movie leaving the ghost ship unexplained.

Raptors killing the crew still doesn't make sense because when would they do it? Why would they set the steering to "autopilot" so it's able to steer itself to San Diego somehow, raptors jump on board (they swim to the boat?), kill everyone, then jump off. All for a creepy scene where the boat crashes into the dock and the crew is gone. Such an unbelievable blunder that completely ruins the movie.
