i thought season 1 was good but then season 2 came and i realized it was just that anthony hopkins is a good actor

it went to shit before it hit season 2 and if you don't agree you have objectively shit taste.

season 1 was kino. you will be shocked by how bad season 2 is. just 2 episodes of that crap made me drop this show PERMANENTLY.

its bad because no one working on the show actually wanted to make anything beyond a six episode one-off miniseries, but were forced into making ten times as many episodes (filled with Nolan™ brand twists) by HBO after HBO saw the miniseries.

the fact that they never explain how the shrink ray works made me lose interest

First season is not great but interesting. It makes you wonder how they will expand on its universe and plot.
Second season puts a dead stop to all of that and made it MEN BAD WOMENZ GOOD!!!

i watched season 1 probably a dozen times (yes im autistic, be patient with me)

that said, once i watched season 2 it retroactively ruined season 1 for me. i haven't rewatched any of season 1 or 2 since the finale. what a disaster.

Season 2 is objectively trash. The ending so, so bad. However, it also has the best single episode, which unfortunately is late-season.

Then the writers were retards. They should have redoubled their efforts in the script and execution under the same plot, so nobody cared about the M Night Shmyalam bullshit.
That they rewrote the series at the last minute hints that they had no confidence in the story standing up on its own.

The sad thing about samurai world was how much better the knock off was compared to the Westword's trash actors. Mave in particular got outclassed by her japanese counterpart it wasn't even funny.

I got really into this show at first and binged the whole first season in about a day. I'm on season 2 and I"m pretty disappointed. It just doesn't seem to be the same quality.

But lost has horrible writing.
