And in addition to all of those, there are some movies that list some noteworthy people as producers but have no writers or directors yet, but I figured they're worthy including since sometimes the producer of a project decides to direct too (like with A Quiet Place), so there's some potential for missed opportunities from major talent. Such projects include films coming from:

Ridley Scott (5)

Shawn Levy (10)

Paul Feig (5)

Matt Reeves (3)

Jonah Hill (1)

Peter Farrelly (1)

Russo Bros (1)

===

TL;DR

Movies scrapped include Magic: The Gathering, a Sims movie, a McDonald's Monopoly true-story crime-thriller from Ben Affleck, a Chronicle sequel and Sandlot prequel, Pink Panther and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen reboots, a Flash Gordon reboot from Taika Waititi, two movies starring Sacha Baron Cohen and Jim Carrey, two projects by Matt Reeves, two by Drew Goddard, and ones Tim Miller, David Ayer, Jason Segel, and Cary Fukunaga, all sprinkled in between with a shitload of Shawn Levy and Paul Feig stuff

Bob's Burgers: The Movie is up in the air

Avatar is safe

Disney are in financial trouble. They are cutting back everything but their own franchises they know will still make money.

Of all those i'm interested in 40 Thieves, Commando and Toymaggedon.

>Dr. Jekkyl, and more
Jekyll. Shame, I really wanted to see more after Crowe's performance.

I'm so glad they cancelled the assassins creed sequel. The first one was a mistake. Maybe someone else can try again from scratch, following the themes from the games. The movie was so fucking generic.

It looked like the director took lessons from Guy Ritchie.

not much of value was lost desu.

the only things cancelled that caught my eye where the video game films and well, just like how gravity is constant and energy cannot be made or destroyed… the chances that these video game films would have been good where near impossible

>cancelled killer klowns

>Children of Blood and Bone
>McClane - Origin story for John McClane, hero cop of Die Hard.
The Sims - Adaptation of the popular video game series.
kek, glad they were cancelled

>Influx - A scientist is imprisoned in a secret gulag that holds the greatest minds on Earth.
>The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - Reboot of the comic-based adventure movie including the likes of Captain Nemo, Dr. Jekkyl, and more.
I'd watch these, seemed to have an interesting premise.

Why is Shawn Levy doing almost all of those?

>mega man cancelled
Thank Christ. That was gonna be a fucking mess.

>The Sims - Adaptation of the popular video game series.

What the fuck

>Zorro reboot
meh
>female lead is black
lmao

Attached: Durr.jpg (1050x1575, 351K)

>kept The New Mutants and fucking Garfield
>canceled Chronicle and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

The fuck made this judgment call

i think they don't want to rush it and wait for critical and commercial performance of invisible man standalone movie

Dao ale dao. Sul sul!

In terms of New Mutants, it's a mostly finished film, it's just figuring out how much money or effort they want to put in to complete and distribute it.

>Charlie Chan - The granddaughter of a famous detective makes a name for herself.
Wri. Michael Dougherty (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Krampus)

Oh thank god

Most of the films they cut are perfectly fine to get cut, there's only a small handful that even seem like they might be "bottom of the barrel" kind of enjoyment.

I just want them to let Ridley Scott go nuts with his Alien franchise. Give him full control and let the madman take the biggest swings that he possibly can without studio intervention.

>The Return of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space in 3D - Sequel to the classic horror comedy.
>Dir. Stephen Chiodo (Killer Klowns from Outer Space)
I'm mad this was cancelled.

Come the fuck on Assassins Creed wasnt that bad, FUCK THE MOUSE

Attached: 1564600029306.jpg (258x247, 11K)

>The Caves of Steel
God fucking damnit.

A lot of these weren't actually happening regardless of the Mouse, they were basically glorified pitches barely into pre-production.

I mean the dude there writes that the following list of shows are not cancelled, "they are safe".
HOW ARE THEY FUCKING SAFE? DISNEY HAS THEM! THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFE IF THEY WERE CANCELLED!
Disney is going to fucking ruin everyone of them.

Alien is dead already. Ridley Scott killed it.
Disney will just make a zombie out of it.
And bringing Ridley Scott on board won't change anything, since he's the one ruined in the first place.
