Now that the dust has settled, what is your opinion on this film? Are we ready to rightfully proclaim it a masterpiece?

I don't know about the rest of these jabronis on Yea Forums but I sure am.
Wicke, wicket wild, wicked wild, Jim...
I smell what you're cookin'
For me, it's Sisqo.
I liked Jaedens dad in this, his funny
JIM WEST DESPRADA U DONT WANADA
ya zoomin?
The German dub is pretty funny. The original is less than mediocre
If you go through one of the scenes frame-by-frame on Blu-ray you can see Will Smith's uncircumcised BBC
>The German dub is pretty funny.
Explain.
It was a breast of fresh air
i liked the metal spider it was badass lol
I don't know exactly why, but the dialogues just seem less cringy
>cringey
It's fucking Wild Wild West starring Will Smith.
You prefer harder hitting, slow burning, character developing dialogue, huh?
I'm a big fan of A24. You got a problem with that?
It's fun. Better than 90% of mainstream Hollywood trash made today.
Shit, you might actually be right about that
no, not really they have some fine films in their catalog
can you imagine if it were made today
Yes, I can.
mid90s
it was always good, but now is rediscovered because the current state of (((hollywood)))
Based and thong (x5) pilled
It's a disgrace to the classic TV series on which it is "based"
>it is "based"
I very much agree
Never seen it but the setting looks interesting
unironically one of the greatest films ever made and that's before considering all the tits and ass
It had all the makings of a great 90s Blockbuster
how was this shit made? was there really a demand for a steampunk western?
>it is based
And I couldn't agree more. Any favorite scenes, user?
weird shit like this got greenlit the 90s and we loved it
They green lit more than CGI capeshit back then
too bad its all capeshit now
I ASSume you were you a fan?
This movie was made so Will Smith could continue to break the stereotype of black roles, he too could get the white role.
I loved it and was legitimately surprised when I found out it was critically panned once I started giving a shit about ratings.
The Arliss/West banter was gold.
How much did Mexican women cost in the wild, wild west?
I'd say about 50 cents to a dollar for the really high tier ones..
Terrible
I haven't seen it in a coon's age, but I remember nearly every line.
People from dubfag countries are trained from infancy to be retarded. There's your explanation.
WE
Yes? You what?
>The Arliss/West banter was gold
This
>The Arliss/West banter was gold.
I'm convinced it was exactly why the critics had to hate it. Imagine those soichuggers cringing in almost physical pain with every cripple and nigger joke getting tosses around.
big fan, that movie started my salma obsession that still lasts today
I watched it when I was around 10 and I enjoyed it at the time, never watched it again though
I sincerely love how Will Smith encounters a miniboss squad inside the mecha-spider for no other reason than to have more fight scenes.
TV Series > Movie
The steampunk stuff in the tv series seems to be actually viable.
>I loved it and was legitimately surprised when I found out it was critically panned
I experienced this with Hook.
Hook's reception is legitimately confusing to me. Like I can understand now that critics weren't gonna like Wild Wild West, considering the nigger jokes and dry comedy, but Hook was absolutely beautiful.
I heard they were giving him shit that the movie wasn't a CG shitfest, but I didn't bother looking into it.
The last decent film by Mr. Smith or was it Enemy of State? Idk which came out first
Pursuit of Happyness and MIB 3 were good.
It was West, but I loved Enemy of the State, too.
Good call on it being his last good movie, too.
How he's maintained his status despite 20 solid years of shit is pretty amazing.
i, Robot
Bad Boys II
Pursuit of Happyness
Both shit kys
I was gonna say I am legend was his last (much better than the garbage you posted) but it’s ruin when the spic mom and kid show up
turns out.....little wild west fella
>Bad Boys II
Forgot about this one you are right
he's doing a Bad boys 3 right?
Yeah, finished filming this summer. Releasing January '20. I would rather see them push it back for a summer release though. Bad Boys is peak kino.
Bad Boys 4 is also listed on his imdb as being in pre-production
It's a ridiculous, but entertaining movie, like a Moore era James Bond movie. The 90's were the worst time to release this kind of movie, hence the disproportionately bad reception.
Remember user When Michael Bay was not Hated?
There's still demand for that.
NUNATHIS SIXGUNNIN THIS DOUBLERUNNIN DIS BUFFALO SOULJA LOOK IT'S LIKE I TOLD JA
>The steampunk stuff in the tv series seems to be actually viable.
SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE, DON'T LET YOUR LIP REACT
YA DON' WANNA SEE MY HAND WHERE MY HIP BE AT
I unironically love this line
I like Bright, though not because of Smith.
She is Lebanese.
NOW WHO YOU GON' CALL?
who cares
GOIN
Any western ballsy enough to include a rap from the main star and a giant mechanical tarantula is alright with me. Also, Bloodbath McGrath is the coolest name of all time.
WIFF ARTEMIS
FROM DA STARTADIS
RUNNIN THE GAME
IT'S JAMES WEST
TAMIN THE WEST
REMEMBA DA NAME
NOW WHO YOU GON CALL?
Bloodbath McGrath is seriously underrated. Great physical defect to go with the great nickname, every scene with him was just exuding villainous filth, all his men being butchered was the most memorable part of the movie for me as a kid, and the fact that it's Buffalo Bill from Silence of The Lambs blew my mind when I realised it.
Pure kino
For me, it’s Miss East’s ass
