I actually am that same user, have been watching the entire heisei series with some showa classics inbetween. My favorites right now are Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle For Earth and Mechagodzilla II.

It does kinda suck that I have to watch a shitty 2GB rip of the film as all of the other higher quality torrents have no seeders so it gets stuck on 95%. And not even rutracker has a good rip.

If anyone happens to have a magnet to a good remux or 5+ GB rip, I'd appreciate it

I never saw what the appeal of this one was. The part where the trex slaughters all the american soldiers was good because of how insane it was. But besides that I this one is just boring to me. Also Ghidorah goes down instantly and gets turned into a piloted mecha which I thought was lame.

If you go to /t/ theres a Godzilla thread with every single film in the series, and I think it has some really high quality Heisei rips

Mecha King Ghidorah is SSS+ Tier kaijuporn, but yeah it does have some low patches.

Hopefully, you watched the rest of the Heisei series first. That gives it way more impact.

I do distinctly recall as a kid excitedly renting Gamera vs Guiron, thinking that the cover reminded me of Godzilla, and thinking the kid equivalent of "What is this shit?". It was like getting Go-Bots instead of Transformers, or Filmation Ghostbusters instead of The Real Ghostbusters.

It's one of the better ones but to be honest it puts me off how much it pointlessly tortures both Godzilla and Godzilla Jr. The actor who played Godzilla said he would have preferred if it Godzilla had died peacefully.
