Man of steel is not like your typical capeshit movie

Man of steel is not like your typical capeshit movie
And thats why he is so good

The fights are unique and look like something straight up from DBZ

the climax of the final fight doesnt look like two superheroes fighting
It looks like gods from mythologies fighting(destruction scale)
this movie has something mythological

its the only capeshit worth seeing with the batman trilogy and watchmen

It's ok. Why does your OP read like a shitty pasta?

I think this is one of the only films to capture capekino accurately

>It’s ok
Name a better superhero flick from the last 5 years? Can’t think of any

Batman v Superman

This

Yeah. That’s fair. I’m just a sucker for Michael Shannon, but BvS is probably the better film

Man of Steel’s soundtrack is amazing. Much better than anything out these days.

Completely understandable, user. Michael Shannon steals every scene he's in. Zod is probably my favorite film antagonist of the past 10 years or so.

Why don't Michael Shannon's character just terraform some other planet like Mars?

I think they did an excellent job at showcasing Kryptonian powers and acknowledging the fact that Superman is an alien. Live action Superman media often doesn't have the budget or the imagination to show off his powers or the alien aspects. Seems like they often want it to be more well grounded and deal with Clark Kent as a "human".

yeah

before man of steel, i hated superman
after, i realized than is more than a boring boy scout and he is more than a simple super hero
i prefer the destructive god like superman rather than the all good guy superman

Mars isn't suitable for terraforming, and they don't have enough fuel to reach the next nearest terraformable planet (assuming they even know where one is).

Unlike the Earth, Mars has no inner dynamo to create a major global magnetic field. The planet as it is now can barely hold a thin atmosphere and certainly cannot have liquid water on its surface. It’s also much smaller and further from the yellow sun they draw power from. I think the mention this on the commentary

I wish we got a proper MoS 2 from Snyder

>The fights are unique
Literally stolen from birdy decode lul

Which villain(s) would you have liked to have seen? Brainiac would work as a continuation of the science fiction approach, but on a character level I’d have loved to see Manchester Black (or Kingdom Come’s Magog covering a similar theme)

not him, but the op
i would like to see a godlike opponent like
zod

>"The fights are unique"
>"They look exactly like the fights from this other piece of entertainment media"
Umm

unique for a movie
