Is this show still good?

Haha, no

It got better in season 9 thanks to the new showrunner, but it still can't recover from the death of Carl and Rick's departure and all the other main characters they've carelessly killed off.

1 is extremely overrated, largely thanks to

Yes, the pilot was great. The rest of the season was a big meandering 7/10. Pretty good, but not great.

Everything after season 1 feels dragged out. I stopped watching around season 4, 5 or 6 don't even know because time became meaningless

It doesn't actually start dragging until season 6. Season 4 and 5 are the only legitimately 'great' seasons of the show, and they move along at a good clip.

Are they pulling the plug on this yet? I stopped watching in season 5 when Carol killed one of those twin girls

That was the end of season 4, and that was one of the best episodes in the series. Why did you stop there?

I was busy during highschool when this season was airing and had a job that took up 30+ hours/week. Kinda just didn’t have time to watch it and lost interest

I actually like Negan a fuck ton but the show turned to shit for me around season 4
I dropped it around season 8
Is the new season good?

Nah. After the final showdown with The Governor was the nail in the coffin. I recommend anyone who hasn't watched TWD to stop there. Shit gets cringe with the Terminus storyline and everything after.

It's obvious the kid is Ricks

I never got that far, last thing I saw was Beth dying

I think it was the mid-season finale of season 4. No point to the show after that.

Oh wait I guess I did get that far, I just couldn't remember it because this show is so forgettable

Cringe. The back half of season 4, after the prison is destroyed, is the best part of the entire show. It starts going downhill in the season 5 premiere when Carol turns into a superhero.

Back half of season 4 is okay, but if you are looking for a stopping point that makes sense, it's the final showdown with The Guv. Once they arrive at Terminus, the show is over. It's rinse and repeat as far as new locations and villains.

Sure, quitting after the showdown with The Governor is a natural stopping point, but is that worth missing the best part of the series? No. I rewatched the show about half a year ago and I stopped at the beginning of season 5. It doesn't matter that it's a bad stopping point, it was fine.

>but is that worth missing the best part of the series?
Maybe 5% of TWD fans will disagree with you there. Season 1 (minus the "Vatos" episode) is as good as it gets for TWD.

Cringe. Season 4 towers over season 1.

imma mask you some tin

why'd it have to be AMC?
