They really don't. I've started Christmas shopping for my kid yesterday and I picked up a few comic collections for him. I saw this massive Star Wars book. This thing has something like 500 pages and it was going for $15 but I didn't get it because my kid just doesn't give a shit about any of this. Well since the series runs concurrently with the new movies on the timeline, it would make sense to end it after IX releases. The characters in Resistance cross over.

However an argument can be made that the series is just shitty and they shouldn’t have invested in something that lasts 2 seasons. There’s too much Star Wars media that leaves no impact. At least the EU had character.

They completely miscalculated this show. Nobody, literally nobody was asking for an animated series for toddlers. There's nothing in this series for adults or even older children, except for pretty visuals from time to time, and toddlers, who this has been written for, couldn't give two shits about whether it's pretty or not.
