No Red Ajah to gentle the mad channelers, every person who starts to channel is inevitably going to destroy everything. How would such a world even allow the Dragon to be reborn?

Personally I'd want them to make Lews appear in person, but only behind Rand, and when he tries to look, he's gone. Make him walk around and ramble and shout and cry in the background, but only Rand is aware of him.

Weaves are simple IMO, each element has it's color, weaving something just shows colors merging together. They merge into different patterns depending on what's being channeled, so the audience sees that even though same colors were used for two different things they're being woven in different ways for a new result
