There is only so much you can do with "Technology causes ethical problems but with Twilight Zone story telling." It's especially problematic when straining for an hour's worth of story telling when there is really only 15 minutes worth of premise.
You could really feel them playing for time this season. Each episode could have easily been clipped down to 20-30 minutes. Bandersnatch was brilliant in that it was a concept that actually works well with a long format.
They would do a service to themselves and to the fanbase to change the format to ether release one movie per year or shorten the run time of episodes to 20-30 minutes with only a couple episodes per season. Because they limit themselves to technology I feel that it will only become repetitive (it already has) if they keep an episodic formula. They need to just switch to one full length movie per year.
I wish there was a show that was new age Twilight Zone. I enjoy short stories with an edge but boxing themselves so that they are only about technology gets old.
