I have a 16 hour non-stop flight next month. What shows should I watch...

I've made these flights multiple times. My suggestion would be to buy a good tablet and buy nice noise cancelling headphones. Load the tablet up with movies and games and shit you want to watch. Even though the planes have their own consoles, the selection is usually not that great (although I usually wind up catching a lot of big movies that I missed just by flying, but they also usually suck). Also, if you can't afford to fly business (there's often cheap tickets if you keep checking), go economy plus.
As for what you want to watch, it's up to you. The Lord of the Ring movies (the extended cuts) are kind of fun to marathon on long flights. You can also go through and download a bunch of youtube videos and podcasts (since wifi on planes almost always sucks if you even get any wifi option). You can also think back on famous films you've never seen and give them a try (like if you've never actually sat through Gone With The Wind, a long flight is kind of perfect for that).
Other than that, just don't forget to stand up every hour or so and walk around a bit.

As for the series though, I've watched the original Twin Peaks, The Terror, Chernobyl, Dark and O. J.: Made in America during my latest flights. All were great (but you probably knew about them already).

Going from a Asian country to America is anywhere from like 12 to 16 hours (depending on where in America you go and such). Australia to America is like damn near 20 hours. That's not considering all the shit like going through security and delays and sitting on the tarmac and transfers and layovers and shit.

The guy that said noise cancelling headphones is right, but instead of movies do podcasts, audiobooks and radiodramas. Vastly superior to movies and TV shows and infinitely more immersive.

I'm getting both the Switch and Zelda for this very purpose sometime over the next week. Luckily for me a new Switch model just released that has longer battery life than the previous model.

That's part of my master plan, but I'm thinking it might be hard to sleep for any significant amount of time on a loud uncomfortable plane.

Thanks for the advice. Cathay apparently has hundreds of popular western movies and TV series but I'm anticipating it's shit I've mostly already watched or not interested in.

Flights are routed so that the plane is generally never more than 3 hours away from land. The plane lands at the nearest airport with medical service if a passenger falls ill on a transoceanic flight.

Dallas to Dubai was 14 hours and back was 16. Luckily was in emirates business class. I was going to and from Chennai and I mostly used their entertainment system to watch foreign stuff that I normally wouldn't watch.

I usually just go sit in one of the airplane lavatories, unleash whatever it is my body is trying to get rid of, and then sit quietly in my sit and let my body suffer until we land. It's not that big of an issue if people get sick on a plane.
