What does the CBS-Viacom merger mean for Star Trek?

I can’t think of a bigger monkey’s pas than this merger happening at a time when Alex Kurtzman is running the franchise. Christ. What is it about Trek and horrible, hack showrunners?
Hopefully, a good Trek RPG or DS9 HD upgrade for Blu Ray. I won't get my hopes up though.
the state of trek is so bad, any shakeup is worth it
All the Treks they made separately were garbage so I don't see how a merger will improve the situation.
they can finally kill STD after s3
>trip
>every captain but no archer
that artist is brutal
They can finally unite the shittiness of the films with the shittiness of STD
absolutely nothing
it will be just as bad as what they are doing now
hollywood doesnt make good entertainment anymore
expectations subverted
I don't care. STD ruined the franchise.
he was fired you're safe
noticed it as well
fucking cunt desu
That was the plan.
Oh god what are they doing, that all sounds terrible
Burnham lives rent free in your head
Death of Trek.
It's done. It's over. Time for me to move to another work that won't be raped, hopefully.
that's literally a blog post mate lol.
One of two things
>Viacom aka Paramount looks at how badly CBS fucked the franchise that built Paramount, fires absolutely everyone with any remote involvement in Trek atm, cancels literally fucking everything and announces a post Nemesis series with a brand new cast, written by Rick Berman
or
>Kurtzman the fucking kike engineered the whole thing and now has absolute control and proceeds to run it so far into the ground it can never recover.
Sadly, it's probably gonna be option 2
And yours is literally an anonymous post on a Chinese anti-democracy forum, "mate". Not to mention that Kurtzman's Twitter is still full of Star Trek shit and he appeared at Comic-Con a few weeks ago - and a month after the rumour that he'd been fired. He's still large and in charge. Suck it.
Picard isn't even out yet but there is a spinoff.
Marvel (2013-future)
>18 series
>29 movies
Star Trek (2017-future)
>6 series
>1 movies
So are we about to see an even bigger explosion with the Marvel-rival plan?
>DS9 HD upgrade
It can't be done without spending hundreds of millions of dollars because of the way it was filmed.
After the TNG HD box set didn't sell all ideas of a DS9 HD were scapped.
all of these are going to be crap
I'm glad I'm not a pessimistic contrarian
How long til Disney buys them all out?
>Suck it.
Literal liberal boomer spotted.
