great movie

I think it would have done better at the box office if they had gotten their original choice of Michael Douglas for the Matthew Modine character.

>I think it would have done better at the box office if they had gotten their original choice of Michael Douglas for the Matthew Modine character.
It would have also done better at the box office if had been released into theaters less than two years after the first trailers were shown in theaters, and if the theaters had shown the film on screens for longer than one week.
I never got to see it on the large screen, because I usually waited till the second week to see films so the theaters weren’t as packed, but the film was gone after just one week, and this was at a theater with a dozen screens.

I wish Lionsgate wasn't such garbage. In over 20 years they've only managed to make a few good kinos (Buffalo 66, American Psycho, Lord of War, 3:10 to Yuma and the John Wick flicks).

It didn't help that the movie had become a punchline with the media before it came out. Same thing happened to Waterworld.

Outta why way, Corolco fuckin’ shits

The same thing happened to ‘Titanic’, and that worked out ok for Cameron.
The same might have been true for Avatar as well.
Critics routinely shit on the Fast and Furious films.

Fucking based came here to post this

.... and Total Recall

Titanic had an incredibly troubled production. It's a miracle that it turned out so well. Never bet against based Jimmy Cameron, he knows what he's doing.

Back when the joos made entertaining movies instead of disposable propaganda trash.

I just found out that Andrew Vajna died this year :(
