Hold the Dark
why the fuck did have to solve like 15 captchas to post
Arctic
Good choice, though not quite as solitary as OP might be desiring. Also going to suggest Enemy Mine.
more a expanded home film than a movie but this is good
Love it, used it asmr a few times
>Enemy Mine.
will give it a chance
These plus "Arctic" with Mikkelson.

Completely off-medium, but if there's any chance at all you're a reader - you need to check out My Side of the Mountain (kid just up and decides to live alone in the wilderness), The Other Side of the Mountain (sequel), The Hatchet (kid traveling on prop plane that crashes and has to survive alone), and The River (sequel). YA books, but excellent "alone and surviving" stories. Very descriptive of activities and actual useful survival info (more so in the first book).
To veer back to movies, Against the Sun is another good one.
And if you don't mind brown people propaganda, there's Desierto and Rabbit-Proof Fence.
Home Alone 2
>Life of Pi
although it's more tale-like, but has great survival elements.
Also the whole film is beautifully shot/CGI'd
Apocalypto
