nah, they'll probably do something shitty like trying to explain what the rash is.
The general plot of Crossed 100+ might work, smart zombies are fun. Weird "future english" worked in Cloud Atlas.
Not a single story Garth Ennis has ever or will put to paper will ever see a faithful adaptation.
its dogshit
even the alan moore series. honestly the language changes so much yet they can read The Road no problem? fuck me.
I just want smokey man
Im currently reading it. They can try, but they'll have to make it 18+. The whole point is "showing horror and rape, so readers are terrified of gettin caught by crossed". If they dont show, which they won't, it will just be another zombie shit.
Also I need to jerk off before every reading, this shit gets me too pumped up and I cant read it if I didnt come before. Am I fine?
Impossible. When they made The Boys, they removed a lot of Ennis’s edgy garbage. Crossed is 100 percent edgy garbage. Any attempt to tone it down would leave nothing left.
Weren't they going to make a webseries or some shit years ago
What's the most they ever crossed the line? I saw a panel of a dad choosing to protect his injured wife instead of taking their child to safety, but then it ends with the parents getting raped and the child being cut to pieces.
Ennis is a hack and that art is such shit
What, you egg? Young fry of treachery.
Crossed is absolute drivel
2edgy4zoomers
The theme of this are the crossed and the twisted shit they do. Not showing them killimg and raping anything with a hole and pulse makes it useless
cringe and edgepilled
It gets better. In Psychopath, there are multiple human on human rapes. Protagonist ends up raping a chick multiple times, cutting her lips off and putting them around his balls as a ring.
He ends up breaking her boyfriend's jaw, so he can fuck him in the throat.
This show has the edgiest premise every imagined, its embarrassing.
Crossed is hot trash, but even if they did adapt it it'd just end up being TWD "we're the real monsters" bullshit
Why not this then
take it to Yea Forums manchild
what if they adapt the dog version?
Should have been set further into the future, desu. Having the reveal be that the world is already a couple cycles in to the crossed attacks would be fun.
>what if the real zombie was the friends we made along the way?
>nah, they'll probably do something shitty like trying to explain what the rash is.
explaining what it is would actually move the plot forward instead of the constant OMG RAPE, MURDER, INCEST SO EDGY
That is half the point of Crossed. Everything the Crossed do, the humans do. The Crossed just do it more.
The other half of the point is gore porn.
pic?
Crossed would never be able to get an even semi faithful adaption.
We can barely show a dicks in movies and you they are going to show a dude rape some chick while cutting off his nipples?
they would have to completly throw the story out of the window because in the current tv scene you cant make a show about how all men die and woman are hopelessly lost and still go to war and kill each other for petty shit and how in the end a man ends up saving them.
MUH STRONG WOMAN formula doesnt work that well.
the entire point is gore porn
Don't act like there is some deeper meaning to it.
>that scene where the fat nerd and his wife separate from the group and end up getting raped
It's funny because the wife who's turned is just berating the husband the entire time.
Why, this is pure garbage?
>anatomy somehow worse than deviantart
yikes that bottom panel is a total trainwreck
Goreporn is always about the audience being the real monsters.
why are their arms all so fucking short?
You can't really get worse than raping and eating babies user
crossed is like the comic book version of the aristrocrats
Just looked it up and it sounds fucking retarded.
>Crazy Rape Zombies become a billion strong over night because, instead of being wiped out within hours.
it is almost like zombie fiction is shit even if the zombies are still breathing.
I just remember one issue where some comic store nerds kept a female writer hostage as a sex slave while they holed up in the comic book store before she's rescued by a gay couple
not to mention that the "zombies" actively kill each other off
Yeah, it was decent enough except for the "massive language shift in the space of ~100 years despite there being a sufficient number of survivors to maintain civilisation"
it basically is
Brown opinion
The virus is supernatural/paranormal in origin and appears all around the world simultaneously.
which makes it even more retarded. looking at it most the people attacked ain't coming back since they aren't zombies but just crazy people, and giants holes that aren't there for a reason is one of humanities biggest weaknesses. the ones that do turn are just as likely to kill each other as a none infected and biting people is a shit way to infect people let alone nutting in them which only half of those infected would be able to do anyway.
Literacy and mass media completely disappeared.
>and giants holes that aren't there for a reason is one of humanities biggest weaknesses.
wat
It's already being adapted.
HORSECOCK!
>meanwhile Preacher still gets 0 threads on Yea Forums
Shame but they kinda deserve it for making S1 slower than Better Call Saul.
Homo Tortor
Yeah, that's the intended effect of the comic.
I hated Psychopath, the '""""artwork"""" was atrocious.
So Crossed has always bothered me for one major reason, and I guess it's probably my fault for taking it literally...
But where do the Crossed get all the normal people to kill? How do they always seem to find more people who don't know what is going on?
I thought I was the only one
That's a classic because basedcuck dad tried to fend off the crossed with a salt circle. kek.
plot
Crossed is fucking amazing. It's so terrible and purely gore porn that it has to be read to be believed. People might ask themselves 'where is the line between edge and just pure retarded gore', and Crossed was made to show what it would look like if that line were crossed (lol) by about a 100 miles.
Watch some Olaf Ittenbach instead.
Honestly, the comic itself is predictable and boring and just a Walking Dead clone with more rape and that's not very interesting.
I've always been fucking fascinated by the covers though because so many of them just create what is essentially a magical fantasy world created by someone who was told "Draw lots and lots of blood but don't spend any time making it make sense."
I don't think she was even turned, which made it kind of worse. She was spending her last moments before conversion (or just getting murdered too) cussing out her pussy S O Y boy "husband" while they were both getting raped and their daughter dismembered. Makes you think about the times in history when that actually has happened. Little bit jarring.
Anyways it's unadaptable. The entire series was about all the things that can't be depicted in most media. It would literally NEVER fly in actual broadcast. Horror beyond any pornography or torture porn previously made. Actual rape and torture being depicted is not going to attract an audience.
Yeah that page spread was so weird. That was the one where the dude thought the salt protected them right?
And she's like "GEE THANKS JEFF, NOW LOOK WHAT YOU DID" while she and her husband are being raped and her daughter is just a pile of bones being chopped up.
I unironically love the covers.
No thanks. Zombies are played out, just like capeshit. Fuck comics too honestly, there's far more interesting stories to adapt than the shitty edgy dialogue targeted towards 14 year olds and manchildren.
I stopped after the first series or two. Was this ever revealed? I thought the indication was just that an outbreak had happened from some ancient source and it had traveled so aggresively that everyone had underestimated it's potential. That and it's infectees were suicidal but still cunning enough to avoid simple elimination.
post the pic, can't find it
>its supernatural
>but its spread through bodily fluid like a pathogen
There are still good comics. Usagi is getting a kid's show soon.
I guess I appreciate them from the art perspective as a fellow illustrator, they're extremely detailed and most likely tool a long time to do, but they're just such weird nonsense that I can't even feel grossed out by them, they're just fascinating to wander through because almost every one you can almost spot the point where the artist got bored or ran out of ideas and things start to become nonsensical.
I always think of the one where the chick is being treated like a queen and she's just sitting on a pile of brains, complete perfect pink brains just stacked in a pile with nothing attached to them, as if it's at all remotely possible to take someone's brain out and just plop it on the floor and have it look like a cartoon.
I think in general Japanese horror manga sometimes does gore a little bit better, but at some point it all just becomes very silly.
That was honestly as shocking as it really got.
There were parts that were more gruesome, but that panel was the bit that made it clear there was no silver bullet, and that it was what happened to people fucking around instead of surviving.
After that, it fell into the trap of having no shocks left to give, because you always knew anyone who wasn't a pure pragmatist was fucked. the gore also felt more like it was playing to expectations, rather than being appropriate.
Ayyyyyy lmao
This was in issue 1, by the way. Please don't ban me mods.
fuck I didn't see that his guts were on the ground
Yeah I think that was the first issue. It was meta-criticism of the nerd community and "then the good guys find the secret weapon and beat up all the bad guys and live happily ever after the end~" deus ex machimas. It's a shame that Garth is such a retard about forcing certain subjects into his works because when he isn't being an edgy retard some of his comics are excellent. The only drawback to Preacher was LOLOLOL JESUS HAD INCEST AND RETARD KIDS LOLOLOL material.
The sad old man being a serial killer before the crossed was pretty funny. Didn't see that coming.
>while they were both getting raped and their daughter dismembered
this is the point where i realised the comic is actually gutless, because as soon as you realise the violence and sex are kept completely within their acceptable boundaries, you'll constantly see that they don't push the envelope. don't make an edgy comic if you're not going to do anything edgy, you can't have your cake and eat it
Crossed is the same joke over and over. edgy fun, but there's not enough there for a real series.
It's also the fact that they kind of top anything actually in the comics right on the covers. Like aside from a few specific big page spreads like that one, they really don't actually ever live up to the promise of the covers in any of the books and I think people realize that the comic literally only ever wanted to be shock value, and all dialogue, narrative, worldbuilding, and story beyond that is just tacked on for the sake of having more than one issue.
why did they seperate from the group?
The woman hurt her leg and couldn't walk anymore. She told husband to take the kid and run, but he was a moron and thought that a salt circle would protect them.
iirc the wife got stuck and did the whole "go on without me, save the kid" and the husband tried to be a hero and got an hero'd
I don't remember exactly but I think that guy was an idiot and thought that they were supernatural zombie people and if he put a ring of salt around themselves they would be protected, and that did nothing.
It's really not interesting anyway, no one actually cares because there is no plot to Crossed.
>In the Tennessee region shown in Crossed: +100, major religions such as Judaism and Christianity have died out, and most people are irreligious, though there are a few survivor enclaves that still practice Islam
soooo it's a paradise?
so how does it end?
Wife broke her leg, IIRC.
The husband saw a Crossed have an allergic reaction to salt and thought a salt circle would work to save her.
How does what end?
The original storyline just sort of stops at a certain point.
WYWH is the only one that does a full story if I recall
Why do Crossed Females turn me on so much?
Ehhhhh.... I wouldn't doubt that Garth would "take it there" but the backlash to the publisher for depicting the (gang?) rape and murder of a preteen would hilarious in it's magnitude. No company of any publicity on Earth would do it as anything other than a last-act.
Give it 30 years
All Crossed stories end pretty much the same way
Because the thought of a girl bothering to rape you is hot.
It makes you feel wanted, even if it is fucked up
Everyone dies except white guy and brown girl and they walk towards the sunset together.
Middle two of OP's image survive
That makes no sense to me, because of what they put on the covers.
Because garbage comics have garbage artwork.
>That arc of the UK prime Minister handling the first days of the outbreak and having to stop infected Russian fighter planes from decimating the US east coast. Then at the end his incompetent assistant gets them all infected and killed
>That arc where a guy betrays the human race and aids an intelligent crossed man into killing normal humans in order to not get killed himself
>That arc with the crossed clowns that killed an entire town and circus before fighting a motorcycle band lead by a teenager
>That arc where a serial killer becomes infected but goes unaffected because he was already an unhinged psycho to begin with. Then he goes to create the first united settlement of intelligent crossed
>That arc of the trucker guy who ravages through the desert in a big ass 8 wheeler truck with wagons filled with weapons and his female henchmen who he regularly fucks in exchange for a place at his truck
>That arc of the comic book nerds who regularly rape a female artist and force her to draw comic books that they can read, until she gets saved by a gay couple
>That arc of the mobster who gets infected and then tries to save his cop fiance in a police station but when he arrives there she's already long dead
>That arc of a dad forced to work together with the man who trafficked and then had his daughter killed
True horror kino like this does not belong in this world. Crossed should not be adapted because they'll just fuck it up and severely water down everything. The comic book in all its edginess is just so fun to read, they'll just outpreach Preacher and do an even shittier adaptation than that show.
Another user posted the image under a spoiler. It's unsettling
One of the funniest things I've ever read. The younger gay guy in the group being so stoked to welcome an older "repressed" gay guy out of the closet was a great frame
Yeah most of the series still revolves around typical "do the thing you should not do OH NO SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT" of regular zombie series except there's rape and more gore. Pretty one-note.
I would rather see Hollywood burn to the ground financially than have them validate this load of poop in any way.
And so is Moore by association
yeah, but what happens at the VERY end?
Where do I get to read these ? The site I am on only has the first #9
The thing is for it being horror none of that sounds scary it just sounds like a normal zombie movie with more rape.
Do you mean what happens to the world?
The crossed almost die out and civilization starts to rise again only for a stupid ass plot twist to start the whole thing over again
One of the characters in that is based on me.
>let's make the edgies shit possible
>but no underage sex no no no
Fucking cowards, imagine being bigger pussies than a shy jap who can't even look people in the eye.
>That arc of a dad forced to work together with the man who trafficked and then had his daughter killed
and his wife, who was then killed by her son
unless the media liked it enough to frame it as subversive re-imagining of tired gender tropes or whatever the fuck. showcase true equality of the sexes, explain that half the population dying would cause problems no matter who's left, etc
it was extraordinarily difficult to read
that sucks, why did the whole thing start?
An interracial gay couple. Let's stick to the facts here.
meteorite containing amino acids hits earth.
It just starts starts out of nowhere like every other zombie shit
There's no real reason, it's just your basic zombie story. One day things are normal and suddenly OMG THAT GUY IS RAPING AND EATING PEOPLE and then everyone is a raging rape zombie and all the normal people are dead.
It doesn't actually matter why they are that way, it's just that they're zombies now but instead of walking slowly and eating brains and being dead, they're alive and really aggressive and somewhat intelligent and they just want to cause pain and fuck.
The whole point is just to take the zombie trope to 11.
War Stories would be great. Make for a few excellent WW2 movies.
You're mixing up two stories. One story was about a prehistoric society like the crossed and how one dude was researching it. But at the end you find out this dude was already turned and just made it all up.
And the other story was about the british prime minister reacting to the first outbreaks which showed a patient zero (turned out it was patient zero from Britain, there were more patient zero's all over the world) and he sees visions of all human atrocities and this makes him crossed and they start infecting other people. But other than that they never explain anything, nor could they. It's incredibly unrealistic.
post full dump of 100+
in a few of the stories divine judgement is implied, the crossed are meant to turn everyone and then die out
What comics/GNs are worth reading? I've only read Watchmen so far and I've heard Preacher and TDKR are great
S1 was pretty terrible because they didn't really know what to do with it
S2 was fine, although it gets a bit too slow near the end of the season
S3 was good
S4, 3 episodes in, seems to be kind of a mess, flashbacks, flashforwards and generally convuluted storytelling just for the sake of it, also the middle east looks like rural australia
That's a really complicated topic and I don't know how to answer it without knowing what you actually like. Sci fi? Fantasy? Traditional superhero comics? Edgy stuff? Extreme 90s? Slow, deep stories?
If you want my personal recommendations I would suggest reading Spawn from issue 1 to...whenever Armageddon ends, 165 or something. Also the Batman series that Scotty Snyder & Greg Capullo did, Court of Owls is fucking great.
There's also Sin City which is one of my favorite comics ever, as well as Frank Miller's run on Batman and his book 300 which are both very good.
Those are all pretty generic "everyone should like this" stuff, I think.
For Crossed? Only the original and WYWH, maybe 100+ if you really need more
Hahahaha yeah I know. Maybe not even 10.
There's all sorts of things in the world but "gang rape of a sub 13 year old" is one of those ones that really, REALLY crosses (heh) the line. The covers depict the usual blood/guts/etc (sometimes with children in shot, yeah), but rape is a level-up.
That storyarc was actually bretty gud, especially that for a conclusion. When he goes above ground and cuts off what the soldier's saying and tells him to cut the fiber optic cable to the bunker. Great ending. The sequel arc where he kills his mates was so contrived though.
Maybe that's it. I'm also thinking of some of the covers though. I think it might've been an alternate covers series for a couple issues that depicted "Crossed breakouts through history" or something.
Imagine not only being a grown man who reads illustrated fiction, but also unironically discussing them with other incels and having an orgasm at a big corporation turning your favourite kid's book into a TV show for you to watch
The Punisher Max, it's Ennis almost restrained enough to tell a good story and portray a realistic, layered depiction of the character.
Imagine writing this instead of doing literaly anything else with your time
>interiors don't live up to the covers
welcome to comics
I would say the Punisher MAX series from 1 to 60 or 66 (done by the same guy who wrote this series too, Punisher was never better than this), Transmetropolitan (personal favorite ever), Sandman (might be objectively the best ever), V for Vendetta, the duo series in Joker/Luthor by Brian Azerello (guy is so overrated outside of these two series)- all of this is a good start.
This, fucking boards gone faggot
You'e not fooling anyone, Basednestro
kys
Let's say Sci fi (cosmic horror, cyberpunk or Alien/the thing kinds of sci fi), dark fantasy, and westerns usually interest me. I'm kinda super heroed out and watchmen scratched my "dark superhero tale in a shitty world" itch unless you can think of anything that is a must read
Yea Forumsmblr about to seethe ITT
yeah they definitely were doing something
Most covers aren't canon.
If you like sci-fi and don't mine camp and cheese, there's tons and tons of Judge Dredd stuff that's very good, but Dredd has a lot of campiness that some people can't get past. Also there's a really good series called Nikolai Dante that has a lot of that humor and signature 2000AD cheese but it's really good (and the artist is a friend of mine) that you might really like.
Transmetropolitan is similar, and I recommend anything Moebius did on the art alone.
Yeah that's probably what fucked me up.
>this much pleb in the replies
From Hell, Maus, Contract with God and 100 Bullets are all good starters
>100 Bullets
It's the weakest of the ones I named but it holds a place in my heart
If you like dark fantasy and don't mind something a little older and with more of the trappings of classic comics (sometimes cheesy dialogue, simplistic plotlines, all that stuff), I'm a big fan of Solomon Kane, the big graphic novel compilation Dark Horse released. There's probably lots more of Solomon Kane too, I know Mignola did a short run and there's lots of artists and writers who've taken a swing.
You also might really like Mouseguard, I really do.
Kill Six Billion Demons might also be up your alley.
That's okay then, I just mean if you had to name a "best series all time list".... The first two or three arcs were excellent but the entire series is rewritten halfway through into some kind of weird conspiracy theory secret-agents-illuminati-runs-the-world bizarity. Really jarring swap. It did have a couple really good issues though, like the one with the ex-agent junkie.
I don't think he has ever written anything good outside of it.
Yeah, that part drags it down, but all those vignettes in the issues themselves, like that couple that find a car crash victim who won the lottery, are incredible.
readcomicsonline.com is what i read comics on
Who and what is he? I never read the comic he's from.
.to i mean whoops readcomiconline.to
How can the artist get fucked by crosses but not turn? Or are the nerds human?
Yeah that much we agree on. What the fuck is it with Azzerllo and shoving the same shit into all of his series? Like in every single series he has to force some JFK-related story into it. Like the Comedian story he did for that shit Watchmen prequel series, where the Comedian was a bubbly, politically-inspired best bud to Kennedy but then kills him and goes ToTaLlY iNsAnE wHoAaAaAaA!!!!!!!
Crossed Badlands only has a like four or five arcs worth reading and that character is in most of them.
That's because they're infantile trash written for edgy 12 year olds
The Boys is only popular because it has super heroes. No cares about all his boring stories about almost hero-like normal men in some mundane drama. If that’s the route you’re gonna go they need to be like John Wick.
Bone is a great adventure comic.
If I see this crap on here one more time I'll post a soijack.
tvtropes.org
"In Crossed Volume 1 the survivors come across the journal of a soldier who'd had a rather chilling theory on how the Crossed had seemingly appeared everywhere in equal measure and at the same time, with no apparent points of origin to have spread out from: "Maybe they were there from the beginning, a strategically triggered infection designed to ripple out and take us all."
"This also comes back in the "Thin Red Line" arc where it is revealed patient zeros appeared in seemingly every country on earth at the exact same time, and seem to have been ordinary people who were mysteriously possessed by some unknown force to carry out horrific acts of sadism and brutality in imitation of the worst crimes of human history."
The humans started rebuilding and all, thinking they wiped out the Cross or killed off most of them. Then it turns out that some of the Crossed have a few of them who still have their intelligence after being infected. One of these intelligent Crossed was Beauregard Salt, who took a couple dozen of the Crossed and found some secluded place where he could raise the Cross and condition them, at least some of them, into smart Crossed just like himself. Anyway, the Crossed now have themselves a secret civilization and laid in waiting, in the shadows, while they sent their infiltrators to the surviving human settlements so that they could plan their attacks on humanity.
People are giving you some luke-warm shit suggestions.
Here are my suggestions for non-super hero GN's:
Manifest Destiny: The Louisiana Purchase was so cheap because the West was loaded with monsters and shit. Lewis and Clark lead a troop of soldiers and conscripted criminals deep into the perilous new America. Think of the crew on the island in the first King Kong.
Chew: Detective Jimmy Chew gets expansive visions from whatever he eats (except beets). He can see where a carrot was grown and everywhere it has been. Set in a world where the Bird Flu killed 30% of the world's population and chicken/eggs sales are illegal. FDA and USDA are weapon carrying organizations. Quirky, brutal, funny, and mysterious.
Alien Legion: Criminals and ne'er-do-wells join the military outfit in the far future and are used like disposable soldiers.
Sandman, Seasons of Mist: Lucifer grows weary of ruling Hell and abandons it. Along with the multitude of damned and demons who now roam. Lucifer gives the key to Hell to Morpheus, ruler of Dream. Sandman is visited by many beings who want the Key. Norse Gods wanting a location outside of Ragnarok, Elves seeking to end their contract with Hell, the demons who think it is theirs by right, etc.
Hellblazer
Comics are for faggots, just like comic book movies and comic book shows. Kys manchild faggots
David lapham aka the greatest comic book writers of all time did an arc
the monkey?
>Final issue of Badlands
>It's a Smokey episode
>Oh shit it's gonna be lit
>He gets stabbed and thrown into the river
>BUT HE'S STILL ALIVE
>The End
+100 is really fun, and I agree that future English (or "fucklish", as I like to call it) is a nice touch.
OK, but all of the main characters will be proud trans lesbians of color and all of the Crossed will be cis white dudes.
What's a comic/graphic novel for the thinking man?
>let's make the edgies shit possible
>but no underage sex no no no
Yeah, I can't imagine why they didn't include content that would stop them from selling the books.
I thought I had read all the stories but most of these are new to me.
Better get reading!
None
Sandman
>people actually like the defanged and censored the boys
Making it less edgy actually makes it even more preachy.
Punisher MAX
con't.
The Fix: Two crooked cops go about getting the best things in life as they can and run afoul of a green/hipster insane mob boss, an ethics free film producer, and stoner mayor, and a Hollywood scandal.
(kinda superhero'y)
Planetary: Imagine Iceman and Wonder wOman as Fox and Scully. Imagine they are investigating paranormal shit all over the world. Imagine that the Fantastic Four are the evil illuminatti keeping most of the best secrets. Mostly episodic. Want to see Dracula get frozen solid and his crotch kicked out?
The Manhattan Projects: Oppenheimer's evil twin, Einstein, alt-reality Einstein, defected von Braun, etc all are scheming ideas to advance science and the United states in this WW2 era book. All kinds of "what actually happened behind the scenes" type shit. Like the Japanese teleporting murder robots over to our military bases etc. Great shit that tries to operate within the boundaries of real history.
>Bone is a great adventure comic.
This. Everyone should read the complete Bone saga.
Similar to Cerebus the Aardvark in the sense that the main characters are typical "funny animal" characters inhabiting a lush and highly detailed world populated by normal-looking humans.
I like Groo, he is a bumbling idiot who is also a master swordsman. He lives in a world that is a ripoff of the Conan stories. Also for more of that there is the Conan (2003) series.
>Or are the nerds human?
Yes. It's a [r9k] fantasy.
Her arms and the gun make zero sense
>Crossed 100+
That cringy attempt at neologism is fucking retarded.
If you like it that is fine but don't try to deny this fact. Crossed is edge lord kiddie garbage.
dident they reveal that the crossed were just people who used it as a reason to act how every they want? there were not insane/sick/possessed. just free to act as they wanted because it was "not their fault"
So, humans were the real monsters all along, huh?
Wish You Were Here is the only one I can see working
That would imply them being conscious of their fucked-up state of being. Mutilating themselves, engaging in necrophilia, fratricide, cannibalism, etc. I'm not discounting the possibility of actual disturbed individuals taking advantage of the situation. The Crossed I remember have a way of telling if you're actually one of them or not besides the obvious natural cross-shaped facial rash.
>Yea Forums now treats Crossed seriously instead of laughing at it for trying so hard to be edgy and cool
What the fuck happened?
its been a long time. but im pretty sure it became benign and people just assumed it was still the reason for their violent impulses. So people just did what ever "felt" right at the moment.
2014
>seriously
you fucking what
>Publication date: September 2008 – March 2010
Those kids grew up with nostalgia for wanting that edgy kiddie garbage to get a live-action adaptation.
I have not read any of it outside of the storytimes back on Yea Forums years ago. If that is the case it sounds kind of stupid.
It's awful and it's impossible to adapt.
