overrated, barely watchable the first time let alone more than once, boomer garbage with shit cinematography
i started liking it more when i learned it's based on gta vice city.
It's a fucking shit movie honestly. It was just a big meme and people mistake that for being remembered as a classic
It's the weakest of the classic gangster movies and really only remembered for the last 20 minutes (it's nearly 3 hours long)
Objectively wrong
But thats wrong
One thing I never understood is why everybody listen to him, instead of bitchslapping his fuckin face. He's like those small dogs that keep barking at you. I don't see why any mafia boss would tolerate his behavior.
don't worry summerfriend, I loved it too when I was a teenager
Objectively wrong. It's a shit movie
FUCKING
HILARIOUS
I dont get it, i guess its too deep for me
imagin being an albanian
Scarface and Goodfellas are two of the most overrated piles of shit ever created.
Didn't hate it, but it's pretty overrated. Tony is just constantly angry.
It was an ok watch, but holds absolutely no candle to any Godfather movie, yes, not even to GF 2 and 3.
1932 Scarface is better.
>yes not even to GF 2
well duh, 2 is better than 1
Well, if you also think that literal shit tastes better than a steak then you're right.
Scarface is a masterpiece. Lol at the fucking zoomers in this thread.
>Godfather movie, yes, not even to GF 2 and 3.
You must be fucking vegetable-tier retard to believe it isn't better than 3. And btw, GF 2 is better than 1.
Heres a thousand dollas
it's a fun movie, like rocky 4. it doesn't need to be anything else
>thinks Scarface is a masterpiece
>calls others retard
Oh the ironing. I can see why you like Scarface, because you and Tony are the same kind of aggressive retard.
manlet rage is real user
>because you and Tony are the same kind of aggressive retard.
Does Tony remind you of your childhood bully or something?
>that horrible coughing dub when Vito dies
sure
He was allowed to much influence and power too quickly and by that time it was too late, he was already able to take charge
The KINO part is that scarman allowed himself one single point of emotional vulnerability, and that was what caused his downfall
If you don't like the Godfather 2 then you weren't invested in the characters in the first one. Explain.
The first movie was a neat package and didn't need any further explaining.
First, because of the fact that he was willing to do anything and not afraid. The first coke deal was some serious shit he managed to pull off. Second, because he appeared to be a loyal guy. Third, as this user said By the time Frank realized his ambition and what was happening, it was already too late. Tony had the connection with Sosa and was already too big to be taken down without a risky maneuver.

DON'T MIND IF I DO
His performance in Jack and Jill was infinitely better.
What was her fucking problem?
Shes a tiger
Today OP made zoomers seethe
I can't wait to see the millennial/zoomer remake of the remake.
But I am a zoomer
Too much coca-cola.
1932 was better, because it was Chicago, and the period was classier. Plus, the title made more sense as it was a reference to Al Capone who was a mobster in Chicago during the same period. 1983 made no damn sense.
T. Low t zoomer
Her womb was polluted
I loved 1983 Scarface as a teenager, but the original 1932 version is objectively better. It's not even close.
I didn't see the point of it. Al pacino's character was always an asshole.
I've never seen it
Scarface (1932) is a lot better, because unlike the remake, it's actually a good film
The only thing kino about 80's Scarface is probably the soundtrack. Without it, it probably wouldn't be as good.
too much yayo
And how do we know you are op?
>not watching scarface on coke with friends
>not being inspired as a hardworking immigrant
>HOKAY SO
>HOKAY
>HOKAY SO
>HOKAY
>HOKAY SO
there, Scarface in 5 seconds. if anyone hasn't seen it I just saved you ~2 hours.
Ok. /thread le go
>barely watchable the first time let alone more than once
this foooking guuuy
waited too long to get fucked
SAY HELLO TO MY CHOCOLATE BLEND
Is this an acceptable pose for this type of gun? I mean, the recoil must've hit his liver pretty bad.
Only women and “men” with too much estrogen hate scarface
__Gotti__
Is Scarface One of the best shitty movies ever done
>I kill a tranny for fun but for a green card.. im gunna carve it up real nice
Wtf did he mean by this? Were there even trannies back then
>yes, not even to GF 2
Not even to the greatest sequel of all time? You got some standards you fucking fag.
boomers and millennials btfo
You're a virgin if you dislike Scarface.
I wish it was 4+ hours long. Sometimes the pacing can be off. There's so much character building that seemed to be cut for time. Still a fuckin great movie.
Name a better film
Scarface (1932)
Protip: they cant THE BOOZE AND CONCHA TELL THEM WHAT TO DO
You havent even watched it you’re just being contrarian for no reason
AL PACINO!
I think Scarface's break to truly become ingrained into the general pop culture conciousness was all those black rappers who had it in their DVD collection in MTV Cribs. Some of them had posters too. Before that, it was critically acclaimed as well, but just not very well known. Might be off though, Age muddies the memory a bit. GTA:Miami Vice referencing it might've helped too, but that was only after MTV Cribs. "Say hello to my little friend!" just wasn't as famous a quote in the nineties. Now it's on par with "I'll be back."
This. And the mafioso rap of the 90s (niggers like jay z, Raekwon, nas) heavily referenced the movie and made it a staple in the black community, even moreso than godfather and goodfellas
I'm gonna be real. If it wasn't for rap music, I wouldn't have ever known about this movie. It isn't talked about outside of name drops in rap music.
Way to out yourself as the absolute most pleb faggot ITT
Raekwon and Ghostface literally made a classic album about Scarface (Only Built for Cuban Linx)
No one liked scarface but degenerate criminals. Just accept it.
Meanwhile normal society will talk about Godfather and Goodfellas because it's actually kino.
I've seen the 1932 one
but I haven't seen the remake
Yes I’m aware of that pleb
Scarface still had one foot stuck in the seventies, it's not what if would define as a fully eighties movie. Carlito's Way felt more like it was early eighties to me. Which is funny because Carlito's way is set in 1975 and Scarface is set in 1980. I might have to watch them again.
