What are the odds Jimmy does something stupid and gets her killed by the end of the series?

Walt will poison her with ricin

100%

100%. Did it really take you this long?

Redditors think Kim is going to survive and meet up with Gene in Nebraska and live happily ever after. Fucking plebs.

She leaves him and starts a new career in porn under the name Phoenix Marie.

0. They need a throughline plot, and if kim dies it will fuck that up, killing kim anywhere before the final 2 episodes would be the show prematurely climaxing. Kim could die actuslly yeah, but it has to be in the final 3 episodes

Only reason I think they'd avoid the obvious conclusion for Kim is because the writers don't want to sacrifice their lead independent woman character. She's actually likeable which would make it shittier when she gets killed.

I had to stop watching because jimmy keeps hurting her

how long is this shit going to drag out i mean making the show long is one thing but are people going to really be hyped when some season comes three years after the last one

It was super annoying to hear it's not coming back on this year. Are they trying to tie it in with the Breaking Bad movie or what?

I legit forgot about this show

They did the same thing last time. Spring 2017 to fall 2018. It's obvious Vince and Peter and trying to drag this out as long as possible. They want to milk it. We'll be lucky if Banks doesn't die before the final season.

you "legit" forgot how to express yourself normally too, it would seem.

like i don't even feel like i'm the same person i was back in the time this show was out. watching this if they make more would feel like reopening, reading your old diary, and cringing

2019........I am forgotten

>>>/reddit/ with this dragged out trash

Huh?1

I hate this about modern television. We get 10 episodes and wait two years for a new season. Is it really that hard to film and write it? They did that shit with Mad Men the last season. 7 episodes one year and 7 for the last. Stupid af

>is it really that hard to film and write
Im unironically fucking infuriated right now holy fucking shit. Yea Forums actually IS full of retards.

why are you mad

She won't die but Jimmy's antics as Saul will finally make her leave him for good

thats because you were 8

Imagine watching Sherlock

They have enough time to write the story and get it together. They're milking it for some reason (awards?). People forget the networks used to put out seasons of shows with 24 episodes in the old days. Don't give me this shit that "Well, Better Call Saul is better quality so they have to do less."

whens the new season start faggots

No way. This show is much to boring for something as exciting as that to happen.

Well two reasons, one is the double standard people have about TV. When a film series takes 3 to 4 years in between movies that usually are only 2 hours long, people are fine with that, but if a tv show takes longer than 10 months to write and shoot something that lasts upwards 10 hours, then thats somehow a travesty. Quality takes time, but also if you compare tv to film or novels, the turn out rate is actually really really good. And two is because youre asking if writing and filming a tv series is "really that hard" when its considered one of the more difficult creative pursuits, particualrly screen writing, its a trope that its really really fucking hard

Youre a RETARDDDD.

they used to make like 24 episodes of x files a year you weepy bitch

based

Aren't you supposed to be in class bitch? Summer break is over.

why?

It was a totally different writing system, and style, and style of film making. Its easier to write 24 episodes of general half hour sci fi story of week episodes than it is to write an engrossing multilayered and through line plot that goes over 8 to 9 hours of actual material. This is why even films that only last a couple hours can take years to write. Look at Adaptation.

I'm not buying your theory dude. Too many classic shows came out every year with 24 episodes and not every episode was a dud. In most cases, seasons 1-5 were solid for most shows (Hawaii Five-O, X-Files, Mannix, Dallas, Hill Street Blues, LA Law).

I agree these newer shows are technically brilliant and there are less duds but still.

>half hour
fuck off back to your collage dorm and suck your thumb little baby bitch

(i fucking knew - i don't know why since it's not even necessarily relevant - i just knew this guy was going to think that x-files episodes are half and hour lol. imagine how implausible that is)

i think its more likely she just leaves to get away from him

>40 yo
>no kids
>no official provider
>jsut want casual sex from some balding beta who is willing to kill his bro for her

she is the most toxic woman in hisotry.

They did that so people would pay for AMC for at least four months instead of three.

All those shows arent even good breh. Most tv has been garbage since forever. Tv only really started getting good in the last 20 years when it started taking cues from cinema. Not to say there arent some things that brushed against the grain like twilight zone / simpsons
Whatever. I watched that shit when i was in high school and then forgot it as soon as i was out. Breaking bad is obvi a thousand times better

what's your u/ bro?

AMC is included with pretty much any basic cable package, at least in the US. You don't pay monthly like you do for HBO / Showtime / Starz,

Especially LA Law, like what are you talking about crime procedurals for, youre really scraping the barrel along with hawaii five o. You dont need to take my word for it, just try my theory out for yourself.
Learn script format and then write 3 episodes of xfiles then try writing a 3 episode mini series. Youll find writing the episodes is easier than the mini series more difficult, because its basically like writing a film. Thats what modern day golden age tv writers do, they are writing multiple films a year. Theyre amazing, pld writers were hacky and disliked their audience

What are the odds we get a bunch more feet shots before it happens?

You email me at [email protected] if u really wanny continue the discussion. Memeing and reddit jokes just make you look dumber and unable to think.

> Tv only really started getting good in the last 20 years

I'm mentally clocked out of this discussion.

>sitcoms
>christmas specials
>the news
>toy ad cartoon shows
>crime procederals
>talking robot cars
>music videos
Yeah old tv is really where its at woo boy i was born in the wrong generation

>20 years

Drooling retard. The best episodes of Miami Vice are better than any crime drama since and that was 35 years ago.

You fucking disgust me

based!!!!

I don't know if they'll meet and live happily ever after but I'm sure Gene chose Nebraska specifically to be near her because that's where she's originally from. He might just depressingly spy on her or something.

yeah I b forgetful af my nigga

This stupid shit is STILL on the air??

He didnt choose nebraska. It was assigned to him. Watch breaking bad episode "granite state"

...

Whoops, but it is rather suspicious that she mentions she was from there and that her hometown was near the state border just like Omaha is.

>Gene finds her out there
>she freaks out and has him tossed in jail

She's going to prison for life.

You’re talking shit about some of the all time best TV shows written by some talented people. The ironic part of this debate is the shows you’re writing off as shit for reasons are the same shows Vince Gilligan himself would say are great. Check out the Writers Guild of America’s top 101 best written shows list and get back to me.

wga.org/writers-room/101-best-lists/101-best-written-tv-series/list

Well, the reason is because the writers wanted Kim to meet jim in the gene timeline. It was already decided that saul goes to nebraska in breaking bad so during season 2 of bcs they had kim mention she was from a small town near omaha because at that time the writers already knew where they were gonna go with that. Theres a writing saying that "you can use coincedence to get a problem started, you cant use coincedence to bring a problem to an end" so thats what theyre doing, theyre using the coincedence that kim and gene will be in the same place to open up more plot

damn grandpa, that's a hell of a list you got there. I can't believe they ranked The Honeymooners so low!

I agree with the top 13

Hey all jokes aside, i think its either really disingenious, entitled, or dense for one to claim about a show like BCS being too slow or taking too long to be produced. But i dont actually dislike tv from 20 years ago. In fact i love it, and x files im sure is a very very fine show, i just havent seen it forever but its one ive been meaning to get back to for years. I do hate crime procedurals though.

all forgot about this series, you could say that is as if nothing happened

fortunately he survived

top kek

She'll probably leave him because something not that big but not that mild too and the ending is that she hired a PI to find him, they'll end staying together again trying again their relationship.
