Has there ever been a more perfect series?

>lovable characters
>consistently good comedy
>endlessly re-watchable
>perfect length
You cannot refute this

Your US lot are little slugs

Based
London

>9 fucking seasons

ricky gervais is an untalented faggot and he managed to ruin every single one of plinktons radio bits with his awful hyena laugh

>under weaknesses, you put eczema

Is it good? I've only watched the US one and heard this one's a bit depression

brainlet

It revels in the bleakness of office life, which is why a lot of people prefer the US version. If you don't need escapism and appreciate something that's more true to actual life, then give it a watch.

Ooh. You're hard

This. The US series quickly removed any semblance of actual office work, but the shots of printers and people typing stay consistent in the UK version. You'll never hear the phone ring in the US series.

>201 (two-hundred and one) episodes
>perfect

Yeah if you're a Jewish advertiser maybe.

>'Will they won't they?' relationship is solved in the first couple of seasons, Jim and Pam are boring wallpaper characters afterwards
>Background characters always present but never fleshed out
>Main characters become flanderized and turn into caricatures (especially Dwight)
>Show completely forgets it's supposed to be a mockumentary and instead just turns into a sitcom where no actions have consequences (Dwight basically getting a 'stern talking to' after setting the building on fire and giving Stanley a heart attack)
>Only character who grows into a more well-rounded person is Michael....who leaves
>Show then spends the remaining time doing revolving door celebrity cameos to desperately try and keep viewers.
They should have trimmed at least 4 seasons off this trash.

>it’s another unfunny mutts seethe about superior British comedy episode

>Will they won't they?' relationship is solved in the first couple of seasons, Jim and Pam are boring wallpaper characters afterwards
Completely false. Their excellent chemistry kept it together and they’re both amazing actors

>muh british accent means its smart!!

The Office, Extras and the XFM shows are all amazing and endlessly rewatchable/listenable. Just perfect.

Shame about the rest of Gervais' career, it isn't the same without Merchant co-writing

>XFM
Where can I watch this?

All the episodes are on youtuber

on my uh, feeT

You're the wanker mate if anyone is.

the fact that the characters were so normal and not over acted or written, i think that's what made this and eventually the US copying the formula.
but the UK version is far superior, the US one is pretty bad, only good about it is carell.

This. I’d say the side characters were even more flanderized than the main cast. Poor Kevin had it the worst.
