Was his story arc the worst on the show?
Was his story arc the worst on the show?
I agree with OP
Don't know, never finished.
thumbnail looks like the battle of geonosis
>dude gay people and italians lmao
>gag worthy gay kissing scenes with the biker
>Gets killed and forgotten by the next episode
That's a big issue with the sopranos in general. There's no real consequences to most deaths
Why did they shoot this in front of a green screen?
The actor couldn't stop himself from sucking off the real construction workers
IT'S A JOKE
Is that genosis in the background?
I had to double check desu
>sucks a dick
>dude it's just a joke
>takes it in the ass
>lol jk dude
don't hate vito because of his dedication to comedy
ITS CHUST A FUCKIN' CHOKE!
Fucking kek
this Star Wars moment on Sopranos, don't get why HBO would gain from this.
It was undeniably the best.
Close, but...
Tony's arc was actually the worst.
Literally just goes in circles for 6 seasons and then a sudden le open to interpretazion ending
Huh? The conflict surrounding Vito was basically a catalyst for the war with New York which brought on the end of the Soprano family. Sil and Carlo retaliated and killed Fat Dom. Tony dragging his feet with Vito (because of the 200k) and the killing of Fat Dom were both mentioned specifically by Phil when he ordered the decapitation of the Soprano family.
Vito's son is also part of a crucial subplot in 6B. His failure to provide for Vito Jr. and his mother shows Tony and Phil's moral depravity.
Not true. In the first three seasons Tony is reconciling his toxic relationship with his mother. In seasons 5-6 in particular he is reckoning with the shadow of his father. His inability to confront the memory of Johnny Boy leads to his death (the hit man resembles Tony's father for a reason).
wow you're actually retarded, i'd say go back to watching game of thrones but you may even be too retarded for that
>ya hear that tone? I said, "we're in the endgame now, prick"
>he he he
Watch it, Dougal!
>i love you, Johnny Cakes
kino
The very fucking worst. Everybody talks shit about the ending but WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING? NOBODY EVER GAVE A SHIT ABOUT VITO AND A CATALYST FOR WAR BETWEEN NJ AND NY COULD HAVE LITERALLY BEEN ANYTHING ELSE. SEASON 6 SHOULD'VE BEEN END OF GODFATHER, BODIES HITTING THE FLOOR EVERY 2ND EPISODE. THEY SHOULD'VE GONE TO THE MATTRESS EARLY AND HAD THE WHOLE WAR PLAY OUT INSTEAD OF CRAMMING IT ALL IN AT THE LAST SECOND
Anyone got the Vito gay medication pasta?
erect
I WILL FOREVER BE MAD AT HOW ANYBODY THOUGHT PUTTING LITERAL FAGGOTS IN THE LAST SEASON WAS GROUNDBREAKING OR COOL OR EVEN FUCKING VIEWABLE. THIS COUPLED WITH THAT FACT EVERY SEASON IS LITERALLY "INTRODUCE A NEW CHARACTER AND THEN KILL HIM" IS WHY SOPRANOS IS NOT GOAT BUT RATHER IN THE HALL OF VERY GOOD. ALONG WITH THE WIRE AND BREAKING BAD. YES IT PROBABLY IS THE BEST SHOW EVER BUT GODDAMN SOME IDEAS WERE SO FUCKING STUPID
very based. genre subversion should never be prioritized above good writing or entertainment.
Did you just make this right now? Pretty bassed user!
I got your subversion right here
OH! i'm eatin' here
ew
>HOW ANYBODY THOUGHT PUTTING LITERAL FAGGOTS IN THE LAST SEASON WAS GROUNDBREAKING OR COOL OR EVEN FUCKING VIEWABLE.
Viewable is obviously subjective but I don't think anyone thought it was GROUNDBREAKING. After having rewatched the show three times, the amount of times Vito is actually on screen towards the end is minimal.
>EVERY SEASON IS LITERALLY "INTRODUCE A NEW CHARACTER AND THEN KILL HIM"
>Season 1
Not True
>Season 2
Yeah Richie Aprile.
>Season 3
Jackie Jr. is actually introduced at the end of Season 2 but I'll actually give you this one.
>Season 4
Ralph is introduced in Season 3 and dies halfway through Season 4. Doesn't count.
>Season 5
Adrianna, so no.
>Season 6
Vito has been around for ages, and so has Phil Leotardo. It seems to me that this criticism only applies to Seasons 2 and 3. It's a fair criticism, but not EVERY SEASON.
>SOPRANOS IS NOT GOAT......YES IT PROBABLY IS THE BEST SHOW EVER
So it is GOAT?
>tfw you invented that meme
It's small and it's confined mainly to sopranos threads on this board, but I'm happy people got it and enjoyed it.
>EVERY SEASON IS LITERALLY "INTRODUCE A NEW CHARACTER AND THEN KILL HIM
You got the wrong show. I believe that's Dexter
>Season 1
Everybody is new and everybody is being introduced, TECHNICALLY, you cocksucka
>Season 5
Buscemi
Yes yes I know its not EVERY season but on repeated viewings it stands out. Of course its the GOAT user but when your competition is nigger: the real nigger story and muh science bitch, its not that hard to claim that title. Its like placing first at th retard olypmics repeatedly. Is that guy the goat, or just a capable retard
You boys done? Can we talk about the show or am I gonna have to start posting feet
Pretty much anything related to Meadow, "College" not counted.
Ok yeah, I was thinking along the lines that if Junior were killed in Season 1 it kinda would have counted.
>Buscemi
oh fug how did I forget this
Yeah BrBa doesn't come close. I have yet to watch The Wire but probably will.
Dexter lmao
why did you shop out the battle of geonosis?
I always remember buscemi because of him beating that old asian guys ass lmao. From one soprano fag to another, nigger the nigger show is just below sopranos. If sopranos is a 9.5, the wire would be an 8.5. Dont let other anons fool you, season 2 is the best.
Came here to mention that i always think its a geonosis shop in the thumbnail.
Thank you for your contribution user, I laughed heartily the first time I ever saw that meme
Was the Geonosis edit the first edit? I assume the meme existed before you made the edit, in it's original show state.
8.5 is bretty gud. I'll probably start soon. Thank you, soprano fag.
It took six seasons to fully establish that despite monetary flashes of humanity and troubled upbringing, he is a murderous criminal and pathological liar who refuses to change and is beyond saving. Dr. Melfi is supposed to be the audience surrogate.
Yes
The episode with him and the gay biker guy was cringe.
FINN MY ARCHNEMESIS existed alright, but the thought just popped into my head one day of putting the genosis battle in the background and see if anyone noticed.
glad you thought of it, top quality meme
Yes, right behind the degenerate gambling detective
Actually the Vito story was pretty great. I think the show would have been better if more of it had been structured that way. Ongoing series of vignettes about the characters.
>10:30, gotta be.....
Is everyone seriously forgetting that this amazing scene came from this storyline?
