So would he have actually just punched through the plane if he tried to lift it or fly at it? Has anyone tried to do the math?

what's his endgame

he seems like a full blown sociopath since ||he killed mommy, why wouldn't he just kill his child and baby's mother||

The seat doubles as a flotation device right? He could have took a few people at a time and put them in the water.

It depends on how his flying works, apparently he cant lift stuff if he doesn't have something to press off on. So no, it wouldn't work.

Yes, that's why superman authors had to make up some sort of electric field that surrounds objects he lifts or runs into, because most things would just crumble around him

Good example from early in the show is the wonder woman girl stopping a moving truck and it just bends around her

Mommy lied to him

Here is a gif of it, it would be like this except many times worse because they are going way fast and he is smaller relative to the plane

damn that cgi looks so fucking awful

He never intended on saving them because using their deaths as a tragedy to get supes in the military was the perfect plan

if she was traveling at the same speed as the truck and was pushing against it, would this still happen?

Yes, birds and hail can punch holes in planes if they are going fast enough

This is a mostly aluminum tube going 500 miles an hour.

Stupid show is stupid.

Maybe if he was fast enough to fly and grab some steel beams and laser eye weld a waffle shape net to cradle the plane. Or steal some steel cable from a nearby suspension bridge and tye knots around the plane to decelerate it from many points to distribute the force

depend on how hard she push
i always wonder if supes can limit their strength level

he will slowly realise the only threat to him on the planet is this kid so do the math

unless they follow the comic with black noir, you know

the movie is from like 2005

nobody knows, they're just gonna freestyle this one so it'll be shit

Homelander couldnt do it by flying the same speed as the plane and pushing the nose because he wouldnt have the ground to push off of, so if he tried to fly at the same speed and pushed the nose of the plane, he would just push himself back away from the plane. Same with trying to fly under and pushing upwards to lift it, as he mentioned.

If she was traveling at the same speed as the truck then she could only apply her arm strength but could still destroy it depending on how hard she pushed with her hands and how durable the truck is where she was pushing. Also would still end up destroying it if they floored the gas while she was trying to stop it

the kid is actually the clone and Black Noir is really son
They sort of hint at this when the scientist mentions the kid was growing at a accelerated rate.

yeah, people are going to be able to hold on to each other jumping out of a plane flying at 700 mph.

interesting theory, but wasn't the scientist bullshitting homelander when he said that in the first place?

Planes are made out of light aluminium.

They won't. Black Noir got hurt by the female.

What's funny is that at 2:55 they show him destroy a wing by flying through it, almost the same

They even showed what homelander said would happen, with him going through the nose of the plane, except this one overestimated the planes durability

all the best lies are based in truth, he said the rapid ageing caused birthing issues and that is proven to be a lie but that doesn't mean everything he said was

Not the truck but the plane wouldn't matter because you're still limited by two things, your hands. The area your hands cover will be the area on which all the pressure and weight will be delivered so to stop the fall it's going to have to be equal to the kinetic energy of the aircraft being delivered over an area of about a sq foot assuming Homelander has banana hands.

Best case scenario he uses his whole body but even then, that's a lot of energy being delivered over what is still a relatively small area. The planes body will likely buckle under the pressure and experience a catastrophic structural failure because no single part of the plane is designed to take that.

Homelander's son is relentlessly handsome. I want to kiss him relentlessly.

but isn't he a child

>homelanders son
