I really can't tell if this was all some secret joke on the part of the writers, or if they really are just that stupid.

I haven't seen TLJ, and have only watched the Plinkett review. Almost every criticism makes it sound like a really interesting movie.

But at the same time I'm sure the movie actually sucks dick. Interesting choices for where to take the characters doesn't mean the movie is enjoyable to watch, and none of the Star Wars movies have good acting. Not even the good ones.

This aligns with the original portrayal of Kylo as altright though, they don't really think they are evil they think they are stupid and fell for Drumpf's lies

That's still something no liberal keyboard warrior or ANTIFA wants to hear though. With them, it's either everything is good or evil, no in-between.

Hell, Kylo portrays the alt-right more positively than /pol/ portrays itself. If the alt-right is still a thing 10 years from now, they'll probably worship this movie just like punks love Class of 1984.

It is pretty lousy, but it's worth one watch at least after reading all the praise it gets from left-wingers just to see how jarringly at odds the actual movie is with liberal beliefs. Starship Troopers and The DI aren't as right wing intentionally as this is seemingly unintentionally.
