LEGION

Calling all kinomen!
Calling all kinomen!

This is not a drill, series finale starts in 4 bongs.

Yea Forums, being Yea Forumsv/pol/ colony that it is, slept on this, but I saw a couple of good threads this season, so let's have ourselves one last comfy LEGION thread.

What are your expectations?
Who's gonna live?
Are you a good person?
Do you deserve love?

obviously david dies

season 3 has sucked. the show didn't need to be tied to charles xavier at all and the "time eaters" are moronic.

Yeah, but what will he sing before he dies?

But it's literally the best season. Much more tight than 2nd and it was pretty obvious it's going towards David confronting Xavier.

Also
>time demons
>moronic
???

I'M BLUE

Now I want to see this.

I fucking hate Muties so I can't properly enjoy this. I used to have a mild interest in Muties because Jean was my waifu, but they made her fuck an AboNigger so now I hate everything about the Muties. I've even burned any X-Comics I had. At least Anime Jean is pure.

Fuck farouk is so based... hope our guy doesn't lose

>But it's literally the best season.
you're an absolute pleb

You wouldn't like this series anyway since it doesen't pander to autists, and you clearly are somewhere on the spectrum
Mutant powers are basically treated as magic which can make whatever happen because the focus is on the characters and the trippy visuals, even the plot is quite thin once you get down to it

pssshhh, kids... got any streams?

I've watched the show; I just don't like it as much as I would since I hate Muties. I'm Camp Purifiers.

>Mutant powers are basically treated as magic which can make whatever happen

really only because the main character is literally omnipotent

Yes and no, there's no clear limit whatsoever when it comes to Oliver or Farouk either. Is it telekinesis, do they alter the fabric of reality? How does Farouk arbitrarily go to the time between time, but can't live once he gets chucked there? Who knows
Even with time travel in this season, the rules are barely established. Are they creating alternate timelines? How does switch show up exactly where she needs to be when she's travelling through time?
Sometimes it looks like she just goes back to where her body was at the time, and sometimes it doesen't
This is not me shitting on Legion mind you, I actually prefer this approach since it embraces the absurdity of super powers in a way that actually makes the show surreal and character focused instead of having hours of exposition on how the logic of this magic fantasy world works, which is bullshit and a waste of time anyway
Compare it to the MCU which should get its own copypasta about being the dullest franchise in movie history, and how they always sit down and explain every single fucking plot device to you so that there's nothing 'weird' that might scare off the autists and everything is always neatly catalogued in very explicit boxes

This. The way the powers are portrayed in the show is more like an abstract representation. It doesn't mean that Switch literally has to go through straight, physical corridor etc.

you're mostly talking about season 3, which has been garbage throughout. The big thing to remember in seasons 1 and 2 is basically all the big characters are functionally omnipotent. If they're powerful enough to just hop in and out of the astral plane, their limits are only their imaginations. The difference is farouk and oliver had to earn their omnipotence. David starts omnipotent straight away, thus ends up functionally schizophrenic as he manifests literally everything his subconscious can come up with.

the reason season 3 is crap is because there's none of the schizophrenic-word-salad type writing of the first two seasons. Not to mention how the first two seasons had literally all the backstory they needed to go forward, and season 3 has just been OCD level detail retcons of a pretty simple premise.

Anyone who calls TV Kino or uses the term kinomen needs to commit suicide

I don’t like the guy playing Charles, they should have got James Mcavoy.

How many episodes left? I have to binge this or I get too confused.

Can you not read? Tonight is the series finale.

Bring Me to Life

Thanks

I think he did a better job than McAvoy or Stewart, but then again, his role is much different.
What sold me on this dude is the scene when he sees Farouk for the first time - he looked terrified, something both of the actors I mentioned failed to quite a capture, despite each of them having at least one scene where they look through Cerebro and are shocked.

I really, really wanted autists to bump the thread. Thanks!

No matter how much they try to make Syd out to be the hero I still hate that bitch.
