plebs with shit taste

Everything about it is bad.

Every critique essentially boils down to
>"not MY Superman"

Elaborate.

I rewatched recently. It's serviceable and even good if you don't expect the Reeves aesthetic, if you cut that stupid church and tornado scene, and edit the flashback scenes in a different order. But the world is stuck with this.

you can edit it in windows movie maker if you really care that much user

Because I did not like it.

brainlets can't accept it's a good movie

Pretty much. I’m guilty of this. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a shit movie. It was a poor characterization of a well known and established character. That along with Snyder is just shit at making anything

It's shit

The movie is Rian Johnson-esque subversion of expectations that never sets up those expectations within itself. For example, Superman killing Zod, it was never established he would never do that, we don't know that it's something Hanry Cavill wouldn't do and all of its shocking value comes from people expecting Superman as a character not to kill. But this Superman, I don't know why it was shocking to people, because prior to killing Zod he genocided all of Kryptonians already.

Where’d you get this screenshot of the movie?

because snyder made superman a dour, unlikable, bore.

YOU HAD TWO CHANCES AT DAD AND THEY BOTH ENDED IN NOT DAD
YOU HAVE BE DOUBLE-DEDADED AND LEFT WOEFULLY DADLESS

I don't. I've made my peace.

From the movie.

So you want a different movie?

Actual boomers didn't like because it wasn't the Superman they grew up with.

They whole movie is built to be a fucking trailer. Listen to the dialogue, watch the scenes. its trash but makes a great movie preview.

People weren't ready to join him in the sun

I thought it was alright. 7/10 movie. Starting the DCCU off by killing off motherfucking Zod was a shit decision, though.
Also, the soundtrack was amazing.

If Superman had the strenght to snap Zod's neck why didn't he simply moved his head away avoiding him using his laser beams on that family (Snyder actually said in the commentary that the woman's name was Martha)?

>Martha
Wh-why did you type that name!?

>This uggo as LL

fuck you movie

I get some youtube clips of the movie every now and again on youtube from the movie. I would be lying if I didn't say that some scenes are well directed. For some reason though when you put all those good scenes together they don't quite mesh. I pretty much find that with all of Snyder's movies. Takes a couple scenes and you'd think he's the next big thing. Watch it as a whole and you wonder why he keeps getting hired.

I don't remember Amy Adams being Lex Luthor...

>Pretending this is an unattractive woman

FPBP

He wasn't just trying to save that family, brainlet. He realized that Zod was giving him an ultimatum: either kill me now, while you have the chance, or let me kill thousands more until you have another one. There was no other permanent solution available to Superman other than killing Zod, and both of them knew it.

>the church scene
>bad

How the hell does someone look at her and think "uggo"?

he’s a faggot

Those are some hot standards you got there champ

>Capeshit
>Good
>Ever

pro tip: you can't

>subversion of expectations that never sets up those expectations
We've gotten to a point where retards on Yea Forums mindlessly parrot "subversion of expectations" at everything regardless of context. It's become a completely meaningless meme criticism.

It's capeshit, now fuck off to reddit you fucking faggot

>FUCKING CHRSITIANS REEEEEE

Lmao, imagine being a Redditor

brainlets like to over analyze it, while everything in the MCU goes unscathed.

it's kino

maybe because marvel doesn't treat their heroes like gods, even the ones that actually are. also, Cavill is 100x less emotive than brie larson, yet all the basedboys on Yea Forums love him because they want to be him.

Man of Steel, made by Batman people who don’t like Superman so they made him Batman

>males viewers want to emulate a masculine figure that shows strength and charisma, and struggles to win his battles, the same male viewers feel put off by a feminine figure that lacks charisma and wins every battle without effort
Very deep user, with the ability to make such insightful observations you will fit just right in this shithole.

butthurt fanboys realized DC made better in one movie than disney/marvel with 30

Not showing emotion is just barely scraping the surface of why Brie's Captain Marvel is a bad character.
