Really nice crowds for opening weekend.
Go Sneks!
Don’t get excited. We average like 3 hits a game.
I really admire your snek enthusiasm

From NY Daily News:
WHERE’S RECKER?
John Smoltz is no longer with the MLB Network because he declined to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
Paul O’Neill won’t get vaccinated either but he still works YES telecasts from his Ohio home.
Could Anthony Recker, who frequently appears on SNY’s “Baseball Night in New York” and the Mets pre and postgame shows be following his brother analysts’ No-Jab policy? Could he too have declined to get vaccinated?
Recker, the former Mets catcher, has not been seen on either show in a month. And the commercials for SNY’s Mets studio shows now feature regulars Gary Apple, Todd Zeile and newbie, former Mets reliever, Jerry Blevins.
Recker is nowhere to be found. As evidenced on his BNNY appearances, Recker can sometimes be stubborn and strong-willed. Perhaps he’s taking some sort of stand (we call it Going Kyrie) on this vaccination situation. A stand that may have cost him his gig.
ump being a shit
This outfield defense
Thanks lad
Its our karma for winning a game against the astros with a walkoff all because their outfielder fucked up an easy catch

How does someone from the UK end up rooting for a goddawful baseball team from Arizona? Why not pick an underdog team that's at least competitive?
Pete honoring Gil Hodges with a nice play at first, kino.
I started watching in 2016 I think, and they got past the wildcard in 2017. So they were competitive for a while.
Mainly I liked the commentators, stadium, and them not being a big bandwagon team. I just wish the Dodgers were in a different division.
I love Clarkie bear (and polar bear).
Get out while you can bro. It’s an endless cycle of one short playoff run every decade or so. This organization just wants to sell tickets. I hate rooting for this team but I live here.
Burr :D
>It’s an endless cycle of one short playoff run every decade or so
hey that sounds like us
>cookie
cookie pls
I believe in you, Cookie. Three K's incoming.
Doesn't bother me desu
If they get some commentators other than Bob and Steve and replace the whole team at once, or move to a different location or something I might switch, but other than that I'm fine with them
FIRST STRIKEOUT BABY

On pace for a 2 or 2 and a half hour game today boys. Feels good.
GREAT CATCH AGAINST THE WALL BY THE SQUIRREL!
Brutal stat from Gary: Mets have beaten the snakes at home the last 11 games in a row, scoring 61 runs to Arizona's 21.
